			 under section 524(g) of such title, of quarterly reports that contain
			 detailed information regarding the receipt and disposition of claims for
 injuries based on exposure to asbestos, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="HF2CC317FCB774A3099B80D6334664B3F" style="OLC"><section id="H59BA78D09CA145DF82FDC881B826D65C" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Furthering Asbestos Claim Transparency Act of 2015</short-title></quote> or the <quote>FACT Act</quote>.</text></section><section id="H2DA00C0E7F1C472E91D4C75642090C60"><enum>2.</enum><header>Amendments</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 524(g) of title 11, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:</text><quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H64C4FDA9A8DE437F93D6CC338FB804A9" style="traditional"><paragraph id="H9A2A073F08AB44408B4143202307E26D" indent="up1"><enum>(8)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A trust described in paragraph (2) shall, subject to section 107—</text><subparagraph id="H11F0007594894002898D4803450AE6D0"><enum>(A)</enum><text>not later than 60 days after the end of every quarter, file with the bankruptcy court a report that—</text><clause id="id2A06D8A4828B4A73BADAA0A82B569D27"><enum>(i)</enum><text>shall be made available on the court’s public docket; and</text></clause><clause id="idE1ED9647484642C3BD80F418DD1B1C25"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>with respect to such quarter—</text><subclause id="HC993C9AA71C4463EB2B5AF8B4637E0FB"><enum>(I)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">shall describe each demand the trust received from a claimant, including the name and exposure history of the claimant, and the basis for any payment from the trust made to such claimant; and</text></subclause><subclause id="H578DA7189E9A4BEA8E54A4E737B1F0A4"><enum>(II)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">shall not include any confidential medical record or the claimant’s full social security number; and</text></subclause></clause></subparagraph><subparagraph id="H69284DE897A84CDE81550B152C4766DB"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">upon written request, and subject to payment (demanded at the option of the trust) for any reasonable cost incurred by the trust to comply with such request, provide in a timely manner any information related to payment from, and demands for payment from, such trust, subject to appropriate protective orders, to any party to any action in law or equity if the subject of such action concerns liability for asbestos exposure.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section><section id="H7F4EC271FCD9498C9B2CA9C4761146CC"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective date; application of amendments</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act and the amendments made by this Act shall—</text><paragraph id="idBBE55ED459C6458B8D365510023D7B09"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H43BA763B0EB84B2CA55C4969B7AE9FB1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>apply with respect to any case commenced under title 11 of the United States Code before, on, or after the date of enactment of this Act.</text></paragraph></section></legis-body></bill>
