 sixteen</enrolled-dateline><legis-num display="yes">S. 2974</legis-num><current-chamber display="no">IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES</current-chamber><legis-type display="yes">AN ACT</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To ensure funding for the National Human Trafficking Hotline, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause" style="OLC"><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idE888AF14E39641FE9746FA8324788CA7" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Funding for the National Human Trafficking Hotline; perfecting amendment</header><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id2490D4FC07C34585AC860AE67F016717"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">HHS funding for trafficking hotline</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 107(b)(1)(B)(ii) of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/22/7105">22 U.S.C. 7105(b)(1)(B)(ii)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>of amounts made available for grants under paragraph (2),</quote>.</text></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id1B533C3362C04E3694731411CA7B9D7F"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Perfecting amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 603 of the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act of 2015 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/114/22">Public Law 114–22</external-xref>; 129 Stat. 259) is amended, in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking <quote>Victims of Crime Trafficking</quote> and inserting <quote>Victims of Trafficking</quote>.</text></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id04BE11804C194638B2DE51A7E2AE2097"><enum>(c)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Effective date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendments made by this Act shall take effect as if enacted as part of the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act of 2015 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/114/22">Public Law 114–22</external-xref>; 129 Stat. 227).</text></subsection></section></legis-body><attestation><attestation-group><attestor display="no"></attestor><role>Speaker of the House of Representatives</role></attestation-group><attestation-group><attestor display="no"></attestor><role>Vice President of the United States and President of the Senate</role></attestation-group></attestation></bill>
