<enum>I</enum><header>Airport and Airway Programs</header> <section id="HDC5E05EE336B4A4D8F62C52587AD7E87"><enum>101.</enum><header>Extension of airport improvement program</header> <subsection id="HE02DA8D40ED54A74B30D31E3715BCF37"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations</header> <paragraph id="H0FADCE8F9B44494FA592EF7549802174"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Section 48103(a) of title 49, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>and $1,675,000,000 for the period beginning on October 1, 2015, and ending on March 31, 2016</quote> and inserting <quote>and $2,645,218,579 for the period beginning on October 1, 2015, and ending on July 15, 2016</quote>.</text> </paragraph> <paragraph id="H6C10D5EB4C4C4367BE368DE891DE2D9D"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Obligation of amounts</header><text>Subject to limitations specified in advance in appropriation Acts, sums made available pursuant to the amendment made by paragraph (1) may be obligated at any time through September 30, 2016, and shall remain available until expended.</text> </paragraph> <paragraph id="H550FD8266EF84779BB9E833893C3CE0E"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Program implementation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">For purposes of calculating funding apportionments and meeting other requirements under sections 47114, 47115, 47116, and 47117 of title 49, United States Code, for the period beginning on October 1, 2015, and ending on July 15, 2016, the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall—</text> <subparagraph id="HF9231663B57647E7A82712D8C257B63A"><enum>(A)</enum><text>first calculate such funding apportionments on an annualized basis as if the total amount available under section 48103 of such title for fiscal year 2016 were $3,350,000,000;
