<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id388e115a-f9b6-463b-9c0b-a52cf658889f" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>DHS OIG Mandates Revision Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text></section>
<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idfef8b02b-b8b2-4c54-a451-0eeac72858e5" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Repeal of reporting requirements</header>
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idfb9b3362-4f7e-4c10-b869-9d507b4c6efc"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Repeal of requirement To conduct an annual evaluation of the cargo inspection targeting system</header>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id151bbfe0-dd87-4e97-bb92-1327648f53b9"><enum>(1)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Repeal</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subsections (g) and (h) of section 809 of the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Act of 2004 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/108/293">Public Law 108–293</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/46/70101">46 U.S.C. 70101</external-xref> note) are repealed.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id3af1cc03-e92b-468d-bc4e-c711b42c06c6"><enum>(2)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Conforming amendments</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 809 of the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Act of 2004 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/108/293">Public Law 108–293</external-xref>; 118 Stat. 1085), as amended by paragraph (1), is amended—</text>
<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id20c78f6d-a0b8-4369-90bc-57df52725801"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (a), by striking <quote>and (j)</quote> and inserting <quote>and (h)</quote>; and</text></subparagraph>
<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idf274ff1a-1629-4893-bdd0-b114c82e3443"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by redesignating subsections (i), (j), and (k) as subsections (g), (h), and (i), respectively.</text></subparagraph></paragraph></subsection>
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id15a89f22-9e45-4e44-922c-4f04795aef1d"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Repeal of requirement To conduct an annual review of Coast Guard performance</header>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ida178decb-6cde-4697-a45d-dd7dc1fc4a4e"><enum>(1)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Repeal</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 888(f) of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/6/468">6 U.S.C. 468(f)</external-xref>) is repealed.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id37cf5394-2183-44ce-9f73-f8616a1b6c23"><enum>(2)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Conforming amendments</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 888 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/6/468">6 U.S.C. 468</external-xref>), as amended by paragraph (1), is amended by redesignating subsections (g), (h), and (i) as subsections (f), (g), and (h), respectively.</text></paragraph></subsection>
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idbccc5c85-8b43-4663-b724-a9ff910fb48e"><enum>(c)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Annual review of grants to States and high-risk urban areas</header>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idb8fbeb1c-3c44-44d2-81d3-5fdf055f565b"><enum>(1)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Repeal</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 2022(a)(3) of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/6/612">6 U.S.C. 612(a)(3)</external-xref>) is repealed.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id9481e228-07a3-4932-b1d0-6e2b8a6e740a"><enum>(2)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Conforming amendments</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 2022(a) of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/6/612">6 U.S.C. 612(a)</external-xref>), as amended by paragraph (1), is amended—</text>
<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id30ae2181-d75c-4070-b67b-f7e2a3f25e24"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by redesignating paragraphs (4), (5), (6), and (7) as paragraphs (3), (4), (5), and (6), respectively;</text></subparagraph>
<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id5ab2df69-7993-40d6-bb35-30801fc12419"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in paragraph (4), as redesignated—</text>
<clause commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ida79bdb80-442d-4511-99d0-bbab75de8906"><enum>(i)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking <quote>paragraphs (2) and (3)</quote> and inserting <quote>paragraph (2)</quote>; and</text></clause>
