<section id="H47C6351FAE574B08BC89027297B51631" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Abolition of Army Chemical Corps</header> 
<subsection id="HBE238B7E29954A02A01C6B836452DF32"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Abolition; transfer of functions</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Chemical Corps of the Army is hereby abolished. All the functions of the Chemical Corps are hereby transferred to the Ordnance Corps of the Army. The Secretary of the Army shall reassign to the Ordnance Corps all members and officers of the Army who were assigned to the Chemical Corps immediately before the enactment of this Act.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H504E1D9EF078433795F318AF2BD527EF"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/10/3063">Section 3063(a)</external-xref> of title 10, United States Code, is amended by—</text> 
<paragraph id="HCD30830810FE4F14B75C33DE870C4486"><enum>(1)</enum><text>striking paragraph (10); and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HC406B9830BC04263A0BB755A49A10B8A"><enum>(2)</enum><text>redesignating paragraphs (11) through (13) as paragraphs (10) through (12), respectively.</text> </paragraph></subsection></section>
