 <section id="idAD068BD465D646E7A33BDCCA9B14BBE7" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>American Battlefield Protection Program Amendments Act of 2011</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id7D41530CF50345879F73E0E7122D7193"><enum>2.</enum><header>Revolutionary
 War and War of 1812 American battlefield protection</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 7301(c) of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/469k-1">16 U.S.C. 469k–1(c)</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
 <paragraph id="id82C768125F7146E0BF7A2A14F06552A4"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1)—</text>
 <subparagraph id="idF52F4FBBF72340CF9EA462E7AB81DD67"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking subparagraph (A) and inserting the following:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id71016722FFCF49D78620186E395CD378" style="OLC">
						<subparagraph id="id30CFDE543F8A4116BCAD42A96345A5B2"><enum>(A)</enum><header>Battlefield
 report</header><text>The term <term>battlefield report</term> means, collectively—</text>
 <clause id="id40097BA7F3964A52A6BF0A1F8F312782"><enum>(i)</enum><text>the report entitled ‘Report on the Nation’s Civil War Battlefields’, prepared by the Civil War Sites Advisory Commission, and dated July 1993; and</text>
 </clause><clause id="id36CB21ED179C4E878112C44C6611499C"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>the report entitled ‘Report to Congress on the Historic Preservation of Revolutionary War and War of 1812 Sites in the United States’, prepared by the National Park Service, and dated September 2007.</text>
							</clause></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>;
				and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="idD8D5A52B0FE042E0B771A941FBD44288"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph (C)(ii), by striking <quote>Battlefield Report</quote> and inserting <quote>battlefield report</quote>;</text>
 </subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H2E039ED5CE684660B9C781BB82DFE549"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (2), by inserting <quote>eligible sites or</quote> after “acquiring”;</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="HA3E7C98E962B4D949633771F34D4E7BB"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in paragraph (3), by inserting <quote>an eligible site or</quote> after “acquire”;</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="HFD91D07512084662B562266BB5B7CD35"><enum>(4)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in paragraph (4), by inserting <quote>an eligible site or</quote> after “acquiring”;</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="H1C2E3F4EA8674556B3BC5054EF7DF922"><enum>(5)</enum><text>in paragraph (5), by striking “An” and inserting “An eligible site or an”;</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="H705C5A68705F490AB3023756B6C0AC9C"><enum>(6)</enum><text>by redesignating paragraph (6) as paragraph (8);</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="H56A6217E85DF433487D1D4E047836C18"><enum>(7)</enum><text>by inserting after paragraph (5) the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HC012B4CC10D7427591230118DF41D5DB" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="H335E685229954007A3339EBABB9045D3"><enum>(6)</enum><header>Willing
 Sellers</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Acquisition of land or interests in land under this subsection shall be from willing sellers only.</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="HE5D7B1E5B15B4B4AB2622CEA6AEBC7AE"><enum>(7)</enum><header>Report</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 5 years after the date of enactment of this paragraph, the Secretary shall submit to Congress a report describing the activities carried out under this subsection, including a description of—</text>
 <subparagraph id="H0D1941D01291406BBC4CBD8F86B453F7"><enum>(A)</enum><text>preservation activities carried out at the battlefields and associated sites identified in the battlefield report during the period between publication of the battlefield report and the report required under this paragraph;</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H4B1EEA7AED2943FE8E79BFD05CE3EEC2"><enum>(B)</enum><text>changes in the condition of the battlefields and associated sites during the period described in subparagraph (A); and</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="HCE3691E7F1304E3C92466C474465E81B"><enum>(C)</enum><text>any other relevant developments relating to the battlefields and associated sites during the period described in subparagraph (A).</text>
						</subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>;
				and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="id30A256D30A15462B85FE6C9AFCCCC209"><enum>(8)</enum><text>by striking paragraph (8) (as redesignated by paragraph (6)) and inserting the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idFFCDB399DBF34227B53061688D87BD7F" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="id6E7109E39BD84E7DA62FAE91583212E0"><enum>(8)</enum><header>Authorization
 of appropriations</header><text>There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary to provide grants under this subsection for each of fiscal years 2012 through 2022—</text>
 <subparagraph id="id957DB4D4E8394BEF9567303D4008CBEE"><enum>(A)</enum><text>$10,000,000 for the protection of Civil War battlefields; and</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="id8F778D79597E45BB8C11D6EC25A3FB00"><enum>(B)</enum><text>$10,000,000 for the protection of Revolutionary War and War of 1812 battlefields.</text>
						</subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
