			 <quote><short-title>Finding Fugitive Sex Offenders Act of
			 2011</short-title></quote>.</text>

			 authority for the United States Marshals Service</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 566(e)(1) of title 28, United States
			 Code, is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="idC32234A9380344D29D72C2814EDCA97C"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (A), by striking <quote>and</quote> at the end;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="id8970EE97AF4A4E9191DE4C9F4B335FC0"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (B), by striking the period at the end and inserting <quote>; and</quote>;
			 and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="id835B2AA94DB54C679ED296D2A161B95D"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following:</text>

				the purpose of investigating unregistered sex offenders (as that term is
				defined in section 3486 of title

			 amendment to administrative subpoena statute</header>
			<subsection id="id3B5C1047DFAD40D791064D7D7DB41C44"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Section 3486(a)(1) of title 18, United States Code, is
			 amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="id5CE129EA1CA7410AAC25381FE6879678"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (A)—</text>
					<subparagraph id="idA451C87FB2BF4D44BD29D7EEA1FDD1E3"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in clause (i)(II),
			 by striking <quote>or</quote> at the end;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="idAA3B7DA3666848CCAA811408F11C2438"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by redesignating
			 clause (ii) as clause (iii); and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="idE586C0FE4E2E4570955FC2D1D54EDE9C"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by inserting after
			 clause (i) the following:</text>
						<quoted-block changed="deleted" committee-id="SSJU00" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id522EA5186F07438B909A9CD2957B6F93" reported-display-style="strikethrough" style="OLC">
							<subparagraph id="id66F2A301BC4C40CEB547F447AB104B06" indent="up1"><enum>(ii)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">an unregistered sex offender conducted by
				the United States Marshals Service, the Director of the United States Marshals
				Service; or</text>
							</subparagraph><after-quoted-block>;
				and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="idCBE88B1BA2244BCB960B7E977640E0D9"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking
			 subparagraph (D) and inserting the following:</text>
					<quoted-block changed="deleted" committee-id="SSJU00" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id51F94ED9CB7B41FD8D2627782C6328A5" reported-display-style="strikethrough" style="OLC">
						<subparagraph id="idE845E351601347DCAFB7B2858E4FA519"><enum>(D)</enum><text>As used in this
				paragraph—</text>
							<clause id="id0BA19005D3424CE89F986FE18B6DEE5E"><enum>(i)</enum><text>the term
				<quote>Federal offense involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of
				children</quote> means an offense under section 1201, 1591, 2241(c), 2242,
				2243, 2251, 2251A, 2252, 2252A, 2260, 2421, 2422, or 2423, in which the victim
				is an individual who has not attained the age of 18 years; and</text>
							</clause><clause id="idD3F2AE26295E463C86DD9473C7EB6C8E"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>the term
				<term>sex offender</term> means an individual required to register under the
				Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (42 U.S.C. 16901 et
				seq.).</text>
							</clause></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id115C9664F3E24D38B9F2E68A23D506DB"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Technical and
			 conforming amendments</header><text>Section 3486(a) of title 18, United States
			 Code, is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="id2B664B56B5964E7BACD281E0D061B9AD"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph
			 (6)(A), by striking <quote>United State</quote> and inserting <quote>United
			 States</quote>;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="idF4ED221F7F5B4E2788EE9084E72AC7E1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (9),
			 by striking <quote>or (1)(A)(ii)</quote> and inserting <quote>or
			 (1)(A)(iii)</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="id02808D49BFBE49E18346719B5974F1FB"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in paragraph (10),
			 by striking <quote>paragraph (1)(A)(ii)</quote> and inserting <quote>paragraph
			 (1)(A)(iii)</quote>.</text>

			 following:</text>

			 administrative subpoena statute</header>
			<subsection id="id44f2ec33-3969-41e2-9867-94d92e616d9d"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Section 3486(a)(1) of title 18, United States Code, is
			 amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="idfee46a58-edaf-42e3-ba25-af63eb8ad488"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (A)—</text>
					<subparagraph id="ida6bc39aa-c7bc-46c9-9e62-5bd4b8abeb88"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in clause (i)(II), by
			 striking <quote>or</quote> at the end;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="idf2e1c73c-f8fe-4f60-aa46-64b9b8c4d445"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by redesignating clause
			 (ii) as clause (iii); and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="id4f4bfd55-0dbc-433f-82f5-d1dbfec4f323"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by inserting after clause
			 (i) the following:</text>
						<quoted-block changed="added" committee-id="SSJU00" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id01aae123-0931-4a24-bea9-d34466da30d4" reported-display-style="italic" style="OLC">

			 (D) and inserting the following:</text>

							<clause id="id4bf3e5f4-6cdc-47b8-be27-77c524bc9225"><enum>(i)</enum><text>the term <quote>Federal
				offense involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of children</quote> means an
				offense under section 1201, 1591, 2241(c), 2242, 2243, 2251, 2251A, 2252,
				2252A, 2260, 2421, 2422, or 2423, in which the victim is an individual who has
				not attained the age of 18 years; and</text>
							</clause><clause id="id80b93725-b3d4-4460-b276-b3f030f25722"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>the term <term>sex
				offender</term> means an individual required to register under the Sex Offender
				Registration and Notification Act (42 U.S.C. 16901 et
				seq.).</text>

				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id99b566ae-c750-416e-a6b0-d7b1d7c5938a"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Technical and
			 conforming amendments</header><text>Section 3486(a) of title 18, United States
			 Code, is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="idc440484f-956d-4f31-bc83-958314237b71"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (6)(A), by
			 striking <quote>United State</quote> and inserting <quote>United
			 States</quote>;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="id2f094038-9a97-4426-ae3a-6595a4b2e113"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (9), by
			 striking <quote>or (1)(A)(ii)</quote> and inserting <quote>or
			 (1)(A)(iii)</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="id04230f97-a44a-4030-a9c3-dac3a8b34618"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in paragraph (10), by
			 striking <quote>paragraph (1)(A)(ii)</quote> and inserting <quote>paragraph
			 (1)(A)(iii)</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection></section><section changed="added" committee-id="SSJU00" id="id61BF0327C4564493B1201593D020F0FC" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>4.</enum><header>Report</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 3486 of title 18, United States
			 Code, is amended by inserting at the end the following:</text>
			<quoted-block changed="added" committee-id="SSJU00" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idED66B47E76B842E0BA226BFC2E323BA4" reported-display-style="italic" style="OLC">
				<subsection id="ID51612b8bb14045229cc4337fd475bf7c"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Reports</header><text>The
				Attorney General shall submit to the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate
				and the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives an annual
				report containing—</text>
					<paragraph id="ID59b77f26990549328d91640d9aa69be3"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the number of subpoenas
				issued by the United States Marshals pursuant to section 566(e)(1)(C) of title
				28;</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="IDd1a33a4aa8cb4e028d00d254ac84c46e"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the crime being
				investigated pursuant to the issuance of each subpoena; and</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="ID8547efac930a407ab83f35db2d42cb85"><enum>(3)</enum><text>the number of
				unregistered sex offenders arrested by the United States Marshals subsequent to
				the issuance of a subpoena pursuant to section 566(e)(1)(C) of title 28 and the
				information that led to each individual’s
				arrest.</text>
