		<official-title>To amend the Public Health Service Act to provide for the
		  participation of pharmacists in National Health Services Corps programs, and
		  for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short
			 title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as
			 the <quote><short-title>Pharmacist Student Loan Repayment
			 Eligibility Act of 2011</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id0B5A334C74094F46A1A0A287BECE3906"><enum>2.</enum><header>National health
			 service corps; participation of pharmacists in loan repayment program</header>
			<subsection id="id1C50D30C618848E5A580998D12EF3468"><enum>(a)</enum><header>National Health
			 Service Corps</header><text>Section 331(b) of the Public Health Service Act (42
			 U.S.C. 254d(b)) is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="idA93A6E63E9E54CC5ADAB93A4648348B9"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1),
			 by striking <quote>nursing and other schools of the health professions,</quote>
			 and inserting <quote>nursing, pharmacy, and other schools of the health
			 professions,</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="IDf0c8e1297b7841c58b74c4a78d615ba0"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (2),
			 by striking <quote>and physician assistants who have an interest and a
			 commitment to providing primary health care,</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>physician assistants, and pharmacists who have an interest and
			 commitment to providing primary health care,</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="idF5BAD9568156420E8A196EFABF893788"><enum>(b)</enum><header>National Health
			 Service Corps loan repayment program</header><text>Section 338B of the Public
			 Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 254l–1) is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="ID7718321f2b7d4cdf805e8a7aeb99bd14"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection
			 (a)(1), by striking <quote>and physician assistants</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>physician assistants, and pharmacists</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="IDff4bd367a85640e3a99f14225b8d8f9e"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection
			 (b)(1)—</text>
					<subparagraph id="idA6BD23887846420584F52B55B4105800"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (A), by striking <quote>dentistry, or another health profession,</quote> and
			 inserting <quote>dentistry, pharmacy, or another health profession,</quote>;
			 and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="IDda0da2574348420c8811ab1ccc5375cf"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (C)(ii), by striking <quote>dentistry, or other health profession</quote> and
			 inserting <quote>dentistry, pharmacy, or other health
			 profession</quote>.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id3062BCB1FFB6440B8A547A1700261A9D"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Corps
			 personnel</header><text>Section 333(e) of the Public Health Service Act (42
			 U.S.C. 254f(e)) is amended by striking <quote>dentistry, or any other health
			 profession</quote> and inserting <quote>dentistry, pharmacy, or any other
			 health profession</quote>.</text>
