		<official-title>To extend the authorizations of appropriations for
		  certain national heritage areas, and for other purposes. </official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short
			 title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as
			 the <quote><short-title>National Heritage Area
			 Authorizations Extension Act of 2012</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id5B27536895634801B513133BB7CCEE8A"><enum>2.</enum><header>Extension of
			 National Heritage area authorizations</header>
			<subsection id="idb25b78ee00c04ae5aeec41c5b097b121"><enum>(a)</enum><text>Division II of
			 Public Law 104–333 is amended by striking <quote>2012</quote> each place it
			 appears in sections 107, 208, 310, 408, 507, 607, 707, 809, and 910 and
			 inserting <quote>2016 </quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="idda1b738971d54b659af7a0d6a8a50fdf"><enum>(b)</enum><text>Section 108 of
			 Public Law 106–278 is amended by striking <quote>2012</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>2016 </quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="id537360a5a3d449c790a928739235d910"><enum>(c)</enum><text>Section 12 of
			 Public Law 100–692 is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="id2ea51b28126344e79e07bbf1385052f0"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection
			 (c)(1), by striking <quote>2012</quote> and inserting <quote>2016</quote>;
			 and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="id520df36b822d434fb2cfd1928943c319"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking
			 subsection (d).</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="idaed88f66fc794a67ab55f3b9aed1a541"><enum>(d)</enum><text>Section 7 of
			 Public Law 99–647 is amended by striking <quote>6 years</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>10 years</quote>.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="idA20E6F7F228C4043885512921D2C43F6"><enum>3.</enum><header>Funding</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Any amounts authorized to be appropriated to
			 carry out the amendments made by section 2 shall be subject to a determination
			 made by the National Park Service of the applicable funding amounts based on an
			 annual distribution formula.</text>
