		<legis-type>A BILL</legis-type>
		<official-title>To authorize the Administrator of the Federal Emergency
		  Management Agency to waive the 30-day waiting period for flood insurance
		  policies purchased for private properties affected by wildfire on Federal
		  lands.</official-title>

		<section id="id59BA68B2FDCF44D3BF6BE47A4A956349" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Insurance coverage for
			 private properties affected by flooding from Federal lands</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1306(c)(2) of the National Flood
			 Insurance Act of 1968 (42 U.S.C. 4013(c)(2)) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="ide4273f6f3f824cecabc924e307f6e173"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (A), by striking <quote>or</quote> at the end;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="idbed15ef815f24863baf7d3452de15f7b"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subparagraph
			 (B), by striking the period at the end and inserting <quote>; or</quote>;
			 and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="idbce70f2fd210433db719aa4e45ace92d"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idAE935F30598A40A8B361CC3F01C9681F" style="OLC">
					<subparagraph id="id27c536671a794a02894d87d1c4f18d1b"><enum>(C)</enum><text>the initial
				purchase of flood insurance coverage for private property if—</text>
						<clause id="id033646f051aa4497b761ca3366fcfe9b"><enum>(i)</enum><text>the Administrator
				determines that the property is subject to elevated risk of flood due to
				wildfire on Federal land, after consultation with an authorized employee of the
				Federal agency that has jurisdiction of the land on which the wildfire that
				caused the post-wildfire conditions occurred; and</text>
						</clause><clause id="id366f7340235246fb88e96490a0523d59"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>the flood
				insurance coverage was purchased not later than 60 days after the fire
				containment date, as determined by the appropriate Federal employee, relating
				to the wildfire that caused the post-wildfire conditions described in clause
				(i).</text>
