		<official-title display="yes">To direct the Secretary of the Interior to
		  convey certain Federal land to Deschutes County, Oregon.</official-title>

		<section id="id145662B9D8DD4DE3B5746C191038EE4F" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>La Pine Land Conveyance Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id3E9DF439228B46C887787493A8C28050"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text>
			<paragraph id="idD687DF53EC164008820515C76F6EB43E"><enum>(1)</enum><header>City</header><text>The
			 term <quote>City</quote> means the City of La Pine, Oregon.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="ID88f065bab830413093eedd50acf6ab6d"><enum>(2)</enum><header>County</header><text>The
			 term <quote>County</quote> means the County of Deschutes, Oregon.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="IDfc6b7b81a1474a92b7bd78d3aba8f631"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Map</header><text>The
			 term <quote>map</quote> means the map entitled <quote>La Pine, Oregon Land
			 Transfer</quote> and dated December 11, 2009.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="ID64b235cbe57b4821828c29af70e84f46"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The
			 term <quote>Secretary</quote> means the Secretary of the Interior, acting
			 through the Director of the Bureau of Land Management.</text>
			</paragraph></section><section id="idD983CE75601942CE891B600C6444BBD8"><enum>3.</enum><header>Conveyances of
			 land</header>
			<subsection id="ID3b52221367d447c5ba415ebe658ef141"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>As soon as practicable after the date of enactment of
			 this Act, subject to valid existing rights and the provisions of this Act, and
			 notwithstanding the land use planning requirements of sections 202 and 203 of
			 the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (43 U.S.C. 1712, 1713), the
			 Secretary shall convey to the City or County, without consideration, all right,
			 title, and interest of the United States in and to each parcel of land
			 described in subsection (b).</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="ID1fe347aab75e4225a96c3e27c3365e01"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Description of
			 land</header><text>The parcels of land referred to in subsection (a) consist
			 of—</text>
				<paragraph id="ID5a76dc8150654cb3b7c229fe092fdff8"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the approximately
			 150 acres of land managed by the Bureau of Land Management, Prineville
			 District, Oregon, depicted on the map as <quote>parcel A</quote>, to be
			 conveyed to the County, which is subject to a right-of-way retained by the
			 Bureau of Land Management for a power substation and transmission line;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="IDb01f206467134de4a9ae10bfda0ae236"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the approximately
			 750 acres of land managed by the Bureau of Land Management, Prineville
			 District, Oregon, depicted on the map as <quote>parcel B</quote>, to be
			 conveyed to the County; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="ID96bf3754f2f54bd8b187ee5383857e96"><enum>(3)</enum><text>the approximately
			 10 acres of land managed by the Bureau of Land Management, Prineville District,
			 Oregon, depicted on the map as <quote>parcel C</quote>, to be conveyed to the
			 City.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="IDb3001a9711154fff852c762d1a892d35"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Availability of
			 map</header><text>The map shall be on file and available for public inspection
			 in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="ID3f459643ec3643509e65c10870dbc9f8"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Use of conveyed
			 land</header>
				<paragraph id="IDba16ef0191e04a88a60b1bbdf18c0c59"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Consistent with the Act of June 14, 1926 (commonly known
			 as the <quote>Recreation and Public Purposes Act</quote>) (43 U.S.C. 869 et
			 seq.), the land conveyed under subsection (a) shall be used for the following
			 public purposes and associated uses:</text>
					<subparagraph id="ID74ad695ad0dd4b4da2bb195186b0d1fb"><enum>(A)</enum><text>The parcel
			 described in subsection (b)(1) shall be used for outdoor recreation, open
			 space, or public parks, including a rodeo ground.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="ID8bedd61e90fb40e8a8f9e43858caf16e"><enum>(B)</enum><text>The parcel
			 described in subsection (b)(2) shall be used for a public sewer system.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="ID42aee5a3b37b45adae68d298138f406d"><enum>(C)</enum><text>The parcel
			 described in subsection (b)(3) shall be used for a public library, public park,
			 or open space.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="ID5f5384c34be04ce099d62fae6215565d"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Additional
			 terms and conditions</header><text>The Secretary may require such additional
			 terms and conditions for the conveyances under subsection (a) as the Secretary
			 determines to be appropriate to protect the interests of the United
			 States.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="ID0d100ab6b18049d5bbe966a202ee6bb6"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Administrative
			 costs</header><text>The Secretary shall require the County to pay all survey
			 costs and other administrative costs associated with the conveyances to the
			 County under this Act.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="IDe2d9d98322ea4333b6252d1fec27d1d8"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Reversion</header><text>If
			 the land conveyed under subsection (a) ceases to be used for the public purpose
			 for which the land was conveyed, the land shall, at the discretion of the
			 Secretary, revert to the United States.</text>
