		<official-title display="yes">To direct the Secretary of the Interior to
		  convey certain Federal land to Deschutes County, Oregon.</official-title>

		<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id145662B9D8DD4DE3B5746C191038EE4F" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>La Pine Land Conveyance
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id3E9DF439228B46C887787493A8C28050" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text>
			<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idD687DF53EC164008820515C76F6EB43E"><enum>(1)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">City</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <quote>City</quote> means the City
			 of La Pine, Oregon.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID88f065bab830413093eedd50acf6ab6d"><enum>(2)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">County</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <quote>County</quote> means the
			 County of Deschutes, Oregon.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDfc6b7b81a1474a92b7bd78d3aba8f631"><enum>(3)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Map</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <quote>map</quote> means the map
			 entitled <quote>La Pine, Oregon Land Transfer</quote> and dated December 11,
			 2009.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID64b235cbe57b4821828c29af70e84f46"><enum>(4)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Secretary</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <quote>Secretary</quote> means the
			 Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the Bureau of Land
			 Management.</text>
			</paragraph></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idD983CE75601942CE891B600C6444BBD8" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>3.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Conveyances of land</header>
			<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID3b52221367d447c5ba415ebe658ef141"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">As soon as practicable after the date of
			 enactment of this Act, subject to valid existing rights and the provisions of
			 this Act, and notwithstanding the land use planning requirements of sections
			 202 and 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (43 U.S.C.
			 1712, 1713), the Secretary shall convey to the City or County, without
			 consideration, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to
			 each parcel of land described in subsection (b) for which the City or County
			 has submitted to the Secretary a request for conveyance by the date that is not
			 later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID1fe347aab75e4225a96c3e27c3365e01"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Description of land</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The parcels of land referred to in
			 subsection (a) consist of—</text>
				<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID5a76dc8150654cb3b7c229fe092fdff8"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the approximately 150 acres of land managed
			 by the Bureau of Land Management, Prineville District, Oregon, depicted on the
			 map as <quote>parcel A</quote>, to be conveyed to the County, which is subject
			 to a right-of-way retained by the Bureau of Land Management for a power
			 substation and transmission line;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDb01f206467134de4a9ae10bfda0ae236"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the approximately 750 acres of land managed
			 by the Bureau of Land Management, Prineville District, Oregon, depicted on the
			 map as <quote>parcel B</quote>, to be conveyed to the County; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID96bf3754f2f54bd8b187ee5383857e96"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the approximately 10 acres of land managed
			 by the Bureau of Land Management, Prineville District, Oregon, depicted on the
			 map as <quote>parcel C</quote>, to be conveyed to the City.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDb3001a9711154fff852c762d1a892d35"><enum>(c)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Availability of map</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The map shall be on file and available for
			 public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land
			 Management.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID3f459643ec3643509e65c10870dbc9f8"><enum>(d)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Use of conveyed land</header>
				<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDba16ef0191e04a88a60b1bbdf18c0c59"><enum>(1)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Consistent with the Act of June 14, 1926
			 (commonly known as the <quote>Recreation and Public Purposes Act</quote>) (43
			 U.S.C. 869 et seq.), the land conveyed under subsection (a) shall be used for
			 the following public purposes and associated uses:</text>
					<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID74ad695ad0dd4b4da2bb195186b0d1fb"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The parcel described in subsection (b)(1)
			 shall be used for outdoor recreation, open space, or public parks, including a
			 rodeo ground.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID8bedd61e90fb40e8a8f9e43858caf16e"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The parcel described in subsection (b)(2)
			 shall be used for a public sewer system.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID42aee5a3b37b45adae68d298138f406d"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The parcel described in subsection (b)(3)
			 shall be used for a public library, public park, or open space.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID5f5384c34be04ce099d62fae6215565d"><enum>(2)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Additional terms and
			 conditions</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary may
			 require such additional terms and conditions for the conveyances under
			 subsection (a) as the Secretary determines to be appropriate to protect the
			 interests of the United States.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID0d100ab6b18049d5bbe966a202ee6bb6"><enum>(e)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Administrative costs</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary shall require the County to
			 pay all survey costs and other administrative costs associated with the
			 conveyances to the County under this Act.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDe2d9d98322ea4333b6252d1fec27d1d8"><enum>(f)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Reversion</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">If the land conveyed under subsection (a)
			 ceases to be used for the public purpose for which the land was conveyed, the
			 land shall, at the discretion of the Secretary, revert to the United
			 States.</text>
