		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short
			 title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as
			 the <quote><short-title>Stalkers Act of
			 2011</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id25AD1EFAA85C4A4B8B0C7640AC567396"><enum>2.</enum><header>Criminal
			 provision relating to stalking, including cyberstalking</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2261A of title 18, United States
			 Code, is amended to read as follows:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id2CB702A08FB54E2CA1DEFEF1BB8D9F07" style="USC">
				<section id="idC430980BF1FD4B658E87A3E0A764B54D"><enum>2261A.</enum><header>Stalking</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Whoever—</text>
					<paragraph id="ID064763256e554109b8692757965304ee"><enum>(1)</enum><text>travels in
				interstate or foreign commerce or is present within the special maritime and
				territorial jurisdiction of the United States, or enters or leaves Indian
				country, with the intent to kill, injure, harass, intimidate, or place under
				surveillance with intent to kill, injure, harass, or intimidate another person,
				and in the course of, or as a result of, such travel or presence engages in
				conduct that—</text>
						<subparagraph id="IDb67959a3e9974210a03b0a2682321ca6"><enum>(A)</enum><text>places that
				person in reasonable fear of the death of, or serious bodily injury to—</text>
							<clause id="ID8fa7212e3a744739b0811e7babffe4d9"><enum>(i)</enum><text>that
				person;</text>
							</clause><clause id="IDeec2cdf11a014e5195538be9246e1c4e"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>an immediate
				family member (as defined in section 115) of that person; or</text>
							</clause><clause id="IDa0ad51d957834d08b8609fff1c0d77d9"><enum>(iii)</enum><text>a spouse or
				intimate partner of that person; or</text>
							</clause></subparagraph><subparagraph id="IDfe4948d9ecfa49f796c9df57db850b78"><enum>(B)</enum><text>causes or
				attempts to cause or would be reasonably expected to cause substantial
				emotional distress to a person described in clause (i), (ii), or (iii) of
				subparagraph (A); or</text>
						</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="ID9194a4b012c241ae892a5b3903558d73"><enum>(2)</enum><text>with the intent
				to kill, injure, harass, intimidate, or place under surveillance with intent to
				kill, injure, harass, or intimidate another person, uses the mail, any
				interactive computer service or electronic communication service or electronic
				communication system of interstate commerce, or any other facility of
				interstate or foreign commerce to engage in a course of conduct that—</text>
						<subparagraph id="ID8affbf16437b4a848c917ec37171d6b9"><enum>(A)</enum><text>places that
				person in reasonable fear of the death of or serious bodily injury to a person
				described in clause (i), (ii), or (iii) of paragraph (1)(A); or</text>
						</subparagraph><subparagraph id="IDeced4afa0ee74282bd7d9cd37307efe9"><enum>(B)</enum><text>causes or
				attempts to cause or would be reasonably expected to cause substantial
				emotional distress to a person described in clause (i), (ii), or (iii) of
				paragraph (1)(A),</text>
						</subparagraph><continuation-text commented="no" continuation-text-level="paragraph">shall be punished as provided in
				section 2261(b) of this
