		<official-title>To add engaging in or supporting hostilities against the
		  United States to the list of acts for which United States nationals would lose
		  their nationality.</official-title>

		<section id="idC91F15D8BBDB42DFB9F6405A698F2E85" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Enemy Expatriation
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="idD106383CE2FD4FCBBB854433D55B77F7" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Loss of
			 nationality</header>
			<subsection id="id5ADA2AEB10FB4D7ABDA35B7B4F60AA38"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 349 of the
			 Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1481) is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="idACF19E582D74402B9308C2489AA94AA6"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection
			 (a)—</text>
					<subparagraph id="idA7445A6302F543ABA5B96D69A29464E1"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in each of
			 paragraphs (1) through (6), by striking <quote>or</quote> at the end;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="id3947BDC6807B44F08F60FBF9D575CA31"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in paragraph (7),
			 by striking the period at the end and inserting <quote>; or</quote>; and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="idB9D897BCCD474AABA6C8DD2B61309928"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following:</text>
						<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id8B90D94F868D474F9F2945C35179F342" style="OLC">
							<paragraph id="ID6fc5ae441c384923b39bbc4f80ff8dbb"><enum>(8)</enum><text>engaging in, or
				purposefully and materially supporting, hostilities against the United
				States.</text>
							</paragraph><after-quoted-block>;
				and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="idC1CCA2496C3B44A4B78A755879A1C015"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idC56A9D30356E4136B9F80B60668C57D6" style="OLC">
						<subsection id="id4D3BD402C1784DAF80F7FA145D7CCBF7"><enum>(c)</enum><text>For purposes of
				this section, the term <term>hostilities</term> means any conflict subject to
				the laws of
				war.</text>
						</subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="idE83306A969EF491181683FC4269B10D0"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Technical
			 amendment</header><text>Section 351(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act
			 (8 U.S.C. 1483(a)) is amended by striking <quote>(6) and (7)</quote> and
			 inserting <quote>(6), (7), and (8)</quote>.</text>
