			 Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1611(a) of the Ike Skelton National
			 Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011 (Public Law 111–383; 10 U.S.C.
			 1561 note) is amended by adding before the period at the end of the first
			 sentence the following: <quote>, who shall be appointed from among general or
			 flag officers of the Armed Forces or employees of the Department of Defense in
			 a comparable Senior Executive Service position</quote>.</text>
		</section><section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H24D92C312BA94AD49DDEBF99CAF190B3" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>3.</enum><header>Sexual Assault
			 Response Coordinators and Sexual Assault Victim Advocates</header>
			<subsection id="H693D429FFEC448F9B49C32F1C5D5B438"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Assignment and
			 training</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Chapter 80 of title
			 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 section:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HC979E4FD876341D9BF0A44DA4BAE5ADD" style="USC">
					<section id="HE979BB7C890C415880C94E643B4B3F8E"><enum>1568.</enum><header>Sexual assault
				prevention and response: Sexual Assault Response Coordinators and Victim
				Advocates</header>
						<subsection id="H5434F803A65D40C0B8DCD131C1111F14"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Assignment of
				coordinators</header><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H30505E8C30444916AB1066F991BDE7E8"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">At least one full-time Sexual Assault
				Response Coordinator shall be assigned to each brigade or equivalent unit level
				of the armed forces. The Secretary of the military department concerned may
				assign additional Sexual Assault Response Coordinators as necessary based on
				the demographics or needs of the unit. An additional Sexual Assault Response
				Coordinator may serve on a full-time or part-time basis at the discretion of
				the Secretary.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H6BF9E233AACF410A8D7E586F68C8DB44" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Effective October 1, 2013, only members of
				the armed forces and civilian employees of the Department of Defense may be
				assigned to duty as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H3C06EBFC19BB42A6B9AD2B5D8D92D7EB"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Assignment of
				victim advocates</header><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H4B70DFA845C84DC3B189F0004AA9E0E3"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">At least one full-time Sexual Assault
				Victim Advocate shall be assigned to each brigade or equivalent unit level of
				the armed forces. The Secretary of the military department concerned may assign
				additional Victim Advocates as necessary based on the demographics or needs of
				the unit. An additional Victim Advocate may serve on a full-time or part-time
				basis at the discretion of the Secretary.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H29B857413DAA47E1AE8C62282D8E158B" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Effective October 1, 2013, only members of
				the armed forces and civilian employees of the Department of Defense may be
				assigned to duty as a Victim Advocate.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H0731100498F74F769BBE542E108833A7"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Training and
				certification</header><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H7E7D63A4524D4FBB8CE6765953777DBE"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">As part of the sexual assault prevention
				and response program, the Secretary of Defense shall establish a professional
				and uniform training and certification program for Sexual Assault Response
				Coordinators assigned under subsection (a) and Sexual Assault Victim Advocates
				assigned under subsection (b). The program shall be structured and administered
				in a manner similar to the professional training available for Equal
				Opportunity Advisors through the Defense Equal Opportunity Management
				Institute.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H5B445E8C23E44BB0941BC8E71795A11D" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Effective October 1, 2013, before a member
				or civilian employee may be assigned to duty as a Sexual Assault Response
				Coordinator under subsection (a) or Victim Advocate under subsection (b), the
				member or employee must have completed the training program required by
				paragraph (1) and obtained the certification.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H7FB752AECD104261A0D6D18584F2CE37"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section:</text>
							<paragraph id="HC10C2959EEC548618D51A20108003B42"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>armed forces</term> means
				the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H70609D288C134D3E8FB76DE959C80033"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>sexual assault prevention
				and response program</term> has the meaning given such term in section 1601(a)
				of the Ike Skelton National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011
				(Public Law 111–383; 10 U.S.C. 1561
				note).</text>
							</paragraph></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H290190442F4D481D9219191B157EAB3D"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical
			 amendment</header><text>The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter

			 access to legal counsel and services of Sexual Assault Response Coordinators
			 and Sexual Assault Victim Advocates</header>
			<subsection id="HA8D3465CE82B4F71A2EB919EE9658291"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Access</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Chapter 53 of title 10, United States Code,
			 is amended by inserting after section 1044d the following new section:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H82660F4897D9462E8F4BD9DEED552BE8" style="USC">
					<section id="H1D73C852E1F74C019AACE91E6E8F4C4D"><enum>1044e.</enum><header>Victims of
				sexual assault: access to legal assistance and services of Sexual Assault
				Response Coordinators and Sexual Assault Victim Advocates</header>
						<subsection id="HC63D3B7039604551A779B37946E84974"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Availability of
				legal assistance and Victim Advocate services</header>
							<paragraph id="H6775ED65433D41ECBACA349A1C066DC0"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Members</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A member of the armed forces or a dependent
				of a member of the armed forces who is the victim of a sexual assault is
				entitled to—</text>
								<subparagraph id="H02AAE17531DD4854A46C13176A62A696"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">legal assistance provided by a military
				legal assistance counsel certified as competent to provide such duties pursuant
				to section 827(b) of this title (article 27(b) of the Uniform Code of Military
				Justice);</text>
								</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HD6B54096DE194ABD95EA75364F1C807D"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">assistance provided by a qualified Sexual
				Assault Response Coordinator; and</text>
								</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H4F125B83F586479F9BB0BF28A70EBC32"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">assistance provided by a qualified Sexual
				Assault Victim Advocate.</text>
								</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HF03ACB26068C44FBBAA8B3994514ECE2"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Dependents</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">To the extent practicable, the Secretary of
				a military department shall make the assistance described in paragraph (1)
				available to a dependent of a member of the armed forces who is the victim of a
				sexual assault and resides on or in the vicinity of a military installation at
				that military installation. The Secretary concerned shall define the term
				<term>vicinity</term> for purposes of this paragraph.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H27CA6BF50C3741A59953FD40EBB71F47"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Notice of
				availability of assistance; opt out</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The member or dependent shall be informed
				of the availability of assistance under this subsection as soon as the member
				or dependent seeks assistance from a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator or any
				other responsible member of the armed forces or Department of Defense civilian
				employee. The victim shall also be informed that the legal assistance and
				services of a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator and Sexual Assault Victim
				Advocate are optional and these services may be declined, in whole or in part,
				at any time.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="HF5DC13AD43964D5C9C37D087AD11FFB4"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Nature of
				reporting immaterial</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In the
				case of a member of the armed forces, access to legal assistance and the
				services of Sexual Assault Response Coordinators and Sexual Assault Victim
				Advocates are available regardless of whether the member elects unrestricted or
				restricted (confidential) reporting of the sexual assault.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HE40DB77E3971409EA338C9FF14D9BD6A"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Restricted
				reporting option</header>
							<paragraph display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HE96020905A664B468D724BD27B92A728"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Availability of
				restricted reporting</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A member
				of the armed forces who is the victim of a sexual assault may confidentially
				disclose the details of the assault to an individual specified in paragraph (2)
				and receive medical treatment, legal assistance, or counseling, without
				triggering an official investigation of the allegations.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="HD942BD3E33C04259A8703234F24E84A5"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Persons covered
				by restricted reporting</header><text>Individuals covered by paragraph (1) are
				the following:</text>
								<subparagraph id="H7D2A27350DBC44D1B47846661C34DD18"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Military legal assistance counsel.</text>
								</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HAEF2F2E589E648DFB528E48F5C2A1A31"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Sexual Assault Response Coordinator.</text>
								</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H2CB5FF721B9344A380E4FC28791FD711"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Sexual Assault Victim Advocate.</text>
								</subparagraph><subparagraph display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H0BD1A4C643BA475DAE16EE1EA4A58232"><enum>(D)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Personnel staffing the DOD Safe Helpline or
				successor operation.</text>
								</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HF7FFF4CCB75C44AAAE62FB7B4257A99E"><enum>(E)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Healthcare personnel.</text>
								</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HFCBEF2511EB045B58D13ED523CA1CFBE"><enum>(F)</enum><text>Chaplain.</text>
								</subparagraph></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H3AD65756DBB84239AAE0D9ED487200DC"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text>In
				this section:</text>
							<paragraph id="H10313E3915A24B8EBDDB203782D4B485"><enum>(1)</enum><text>The term
				<term>sexual assault</term> includes any of the offenses covered by section 920
				of this title (article 120 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice).</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H159A34198974468B9B9D0AE21C1DE42E"><enum>(2)</enum><text>The term
				<term>military legal assistance counsel</term> means—</text>
								<subparagraph id="H842DD825626A4578AE4E010525CB1636"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">a judge advocate (as defined in section
				801(13) of this title (article 1(13) of the Uniform Code of Military Justice));
				or</text>
								</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H22B08408887B47F99F818355A4DDB3DF"><enum>(B)</enum><text>a civilian
				attorney serving as a legal assistance officer under the provisions of section
				1044 of this
				title.</text>
								</subparagraph></paragraph></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H5B65842C65F74F0AB8F1B098C488CFD1"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical
			 amendment</header><text>The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter

			 communications between sexual assault victims and Sexual Assault Response
			 Coordinators, Victim Advocates, and certain other persons</header>
			<subsection id="HC3518F8FAA34458DBB8941180DD696BC"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Access</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Chapter 53 of title 10, United States Code,
			 is amended by inserting after section 1034 the following new section:</text>

					<section id="HC54355B7D7AF4442997C5EBBBB5AF10D"><enum>1034a.</enum><header>Privilege
				against disclosure of certain communications for victims of sexual
				assault</header>
						<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HF42E7193C3EB42068C8E9780A7EC90A8"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Privileged
				communications</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Communications
				between a member of the armed forces or a dependent of a member of the armed
				forces who is the victim of a sexual assault and a person specified in
				subsection (b), and records of such communications created by or for the
				Department of Defense, are confidential and privileged.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H36389E9222E64046A031F2D8124BC0FC"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Communications
				covered by privilege</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The
				privilege granted by subsection (a) applies to communications between a member
				of the armed forces or a dependent of a member of the armed forces who is the
				victim of a sexual assault and any of the following persons:</text>
							<paragraph id="HA35CE43A56034684BBA5B9AC0E521C44"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Sexual Assault Response Coordinator.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H6C94E1D211A34B4CB6A13D0D4038D563"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Sexual Assault Victim Advocate.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H774232491D464E05B9E3CE6E61CC40E7"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Personnel staffing the DOD Safe Helpline or
				successor operation.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HEC4186C048F541D89B49A4B03E90155C"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Consent
				exception</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Without the consent
				of the member or dependent involved, any communication or record referred to in
				subsection (a) may not be—</text>
							<paragraph id="H4B7C7DC50E624A5FB667CD9D282408F4"><enum>(1)</enum><text>subject to
				discovery or admitted into evidence in any judicial or administrative
				proceeding; or</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H2D25F34C70D0481B9E0A9FBF00FFCF9C"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">disclosed to any person or entity.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H98E2582433CE4FBD9D117A99259D42CD"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Relation to
				other privileges against disclosure</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The privilege granted by subsection (a) is
				in addition to any other privilege against disclosure that may exist with
				regard to communications between a victim of a sexual assault and another
				person.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H08EC03DBC3D14FBABEC308C8D6982B7D"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Sexual assault
				defined</header><text>In this section, the term <term>sexual assault</term>
				includes any of the offenses covered by section 920 of this title (article 120
				of the Uniform Code of Military
				Justice).</text>
						</subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="HA631D1E937ED4317A401271C4309D8E4"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical
			 amendment</header><text>The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter
			 is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 1034 the following
			 new item:</text>

			 1034a of title 10, United States Code, as added by subsection (a), applies to
			 communications described in such section whether made before, on, or after the
			 date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="HD3F61B11E29E419BB120768A51490190"><enum>6.</enum><header>Retention of
			 medical and investigative records prepared in connection with sexual assaults
			 involving members of the Armed Forces or dependents of members</header>
			<subsection id="H157513EEB699463987B312CCA170D24F"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Retention and
			 confidentiality of sexual assault records</header>
				<paragraph id="H7CDDBB58E7554EABA2E9CAEC2AE27209"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Chapter 50 of title
			 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 section:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H738DC59D9F634E45BE208ED511D6D681" style="USC">
						<section id="HAA0C216C90E54A898CE6F487FA12B194"><enum>993.</enum><header>Recordkeeping
				requirement: medical and investigative records prepared in connection with
				sexual assaults</header>
							<subsection id="H64221C9E03574246B2ED2284FF8F0CC2"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Permanent
				retention of records</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The
				Secretary of Defense shall establish a system for tracking and permanently
				maintaining the records described in subsection (b) that are prepared by
				personnel of the Department of Defense or obtained by the Department in
				connection with a sexual assault involving a member of the armed forces or a
				dependent of a member to guarantee future access to the records.</text>
							</subsection><subsection id="H1D2F6A914A1240D1919F8948428FCDE9"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Covered
				records</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The recordkeeping
				requirement imposed by subsection (a) applies to the following:</text>
								<paragraph id="H19B77BC506F74BA5B53712F3296B356B"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Department of Defense Form 2910, regarding
				the victim reporting preference statement, or any successor document.</text>

								</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HDE20D6289AD544EF9013D7BE686C0A19"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Protection of
				restricted reporting option</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of Defense shall ensure that
				the recordkeeping system established pursuant to this section does not
				jeopardize the confidentiality of the restricted reporting option available
				under section 1044e(b) of this title to a victim of a sexual
				assault.</text>
							</subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H8BA012188138426A82BAD2D70E599EE8"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Clerical
			 amendment</header><text>The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter
			 is amended by adding at the end the following new item:</text>

			 medical information to department of veterans affairs</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subsection (c) of section 1142 of title 10,
			 United States Code, is amended to read as follows:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H8BF18DDF44894CF49EC963C1E3C87991" style="OLC">
					<subsection id="H7125FD41DCB44CD9AD918CD73EB5DDE9"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Transmittal of
				medical information to department of veterans affairs</header><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H771E688B7801470EA94C859EDCF82861"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In the case of a member described in
				paragraph (2), the Secretary concerned shall transmit (subject to the consent
				of the member) a copy of the service medical record of the member, including
				the results of any Physical Evaluation Board held with regard to the member, to
				the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.</text>
						</paragraph><paragraph id="H86816F6267BC409FA5F4B38C4B41A576" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Paragraph (1) applies with respect to
				the following members:</text>
							<subparagraph id="H7A54DBC0D0D74083AB8D37D6D1AB2527"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A
				member being medically separated or retired under chapter 61 of this
				title.</text>
							</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HADE8A521F3DB4297BCCD070F3E17EC85"><enum>(B)</enum><text>A member who was the victim of a
				sexual assault.</text>
							</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H783B33D87D4F4B7581DB4ACEC68B9915" indent="up1"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The copy of the service medical record
				shall be transmitted within 60 days of the separation or retirement of the
				member.</text>
						</paragraph><paragraph id="HBC34341FD01C4FE9BC78B634FF56128C" indent="up1"><enum>(4)</enum><text>In the case of the transmittal of
				medical records of a member described in paragraph (2)(B), the Secretary
				concerned shall include such other information as may be necessary to assist
				the member establishing a claim for a service-connected
				disability.</text>
						</paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection></section><section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H72F6B719E5464E82B569184078AEEF65" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>7.</enum><header>Expedited
			 consideration and priority for application for consideration of a permanent
			 change of station or unit transfer based on humanitarian conditions for victim
			 of sexual assault</header>
			<subsection id="H1EF0F3CFF60C42FEB88D5CF494094E20"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Chapter 39 of title
			 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting after section 672 the following
			 new section:</text>

					<section id="HF5D9845CC047484A85A8D97B383E3E86"><enum>673.</enum><header>Consideration
				of application for permanent change of station or unit transfer for members on
				active duty who are the victim of a sexual assault</header>
						<subsection id="H40D3C012BEC24ECE8B82B763537E0E7D"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Expedited
				consideration and priority for approval</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">To the maximum extent practicable, the
				Secretary concerned shall provide for the expedited consideration and approval
				of an application for consideration of a permanent change of station or unit
				transfer submitted by a member of the armed forces serving on active duty who
				was a victim of a sexual assault or other offense covered by section 920 of
				this title (article 120 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice) so as to
				reduce the possibility of retaliation against the member for reporting the
				sexual assault.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H4BE3AEE7434F4E4F8BA4B4C71E02A3FA"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Regulations</header><text>The
				Secretaries of the military departments shall issue regulations to carry out
				this section, within guidelines provided by the Secretary of
				Defense.</text>
						</subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H87E9EE1957C248539A08FC0E688F66A4"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical

			 programs for sexual assault prevention and response program</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Subtitle A of title XVI of the Ike Skelton
			 National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011 (Public Law 111–383; 10
			 U.S.C. 1561 note) is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 section:</text>

				<section id="HF05EA635A0DC440296C5A65FCDE1995B"><enum>1615.</enum><header>Improved
				training and education programs</header>
					<subsection id="H58719E2EF1EF4E27B6AEE6EEF27D9F47"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Sexual assault
				prevention and response training and education</header>
						<paragraph id="HEC469E54FAC747E587369B42A200E870"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Development of
				curricula</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than one
				year after the date of the enactment of this section, the Secretary of each
				military department shall develop curricula to provide sexual assault
				prevention and response training and education for members of the Armed Forces
				under the jurisdiction of the Secretary and civilian employees of the military
				department to strengthen individual knowledge, skills, and capacity to prevent
				and respond to sexual assault.</text>
						</paragraph><paragraph id="HBB73C292E3BD4791A7F99D4D674641C2"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Scope of
				training and education</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The
				sexual assault prevention and response training and education shall encompass
				initial entry and accession programs, annual refresher training, professional
				military education, peer education, and specialized leadership training.
				Training shall be tailored for specific leadership levels and local area
				requirements.</text>
						</paragraph><paragraph id="HAD665CC5DDA84B7C8DCEA9BF09E651F1"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Consistent
				training</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of
				Defense shall ensure that the sexual assault prevention and response training
				provided to members of the Armed Forces and Department of Defense civilian
				employees is consistent throughout the military departments.</text>
						</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H05F1EEE15B754A079F7A81E4663037B5"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Inclusion in
				professional military education</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of Defense shall provide for
				the inclusion of a sexual assault prevention and response training module at
				each level of professional military education. The training shall be tailored
				to the new responsibilities and leadership requirements of members of the Armed
				Forces as they are promoted.</text>
					</subsection><subsection id="HF4AF5BBAA584410080CB0A6B093EBC8E"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Inclusion in
				first responder training</header>
						<paragraph id="H9CD8614FE5C042D78A00F687013DF49D"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
				general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of
				Defense shall direct that managers of specialty skills associated with first
				responders described in paragraph (2) integrate sexual assault response
				training in initial and recurring training courses.</text>
						</paragraph><paragraph id="H29C31EC64B92496C80B737EBD9794AE1"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Covered first
				responders</header><text>First responders referred to in paragraph (1) include
				firefighters, emergency medical technicians, law enforcement officers, military
				criminal investigators, healthcare personnel, judge advocates, and
				chaplains.</text>
