		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H77CCAE970E1643E58CC4E5BE488D077C" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Say No to Drug Ads
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H1787ABD66EC9420DBF18134175B13709"><enum>2.</enum><header>Disallowance of
			 deduction for direct-to-consumer advertisement of prescription drugs</header>
			<subsection id="HCE8F64CACD394B498F5BA46BDE2C0D85"><enum>(a)</enum><header>General
			 rule</header><text>Part IX of subchapter B of chapter 1 of the Internal Revenue
			 Code of 1986 (relating to items not deductible) is amended by adding at the end
			 the following new section:</text>

					<section id="H47DC4226BDFD4A81A04632716A8E95DB"><enum>280I.</enum><header>Direct-to-consumer
				advertisement of prescription drugs</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">No deduction shall be allowed under this
				chapter for any amount paid or incurred for a direct-to-consumer advertisement
				of a prescription
				drug.</text>

			</subsection><subsection id="HA7755C419DF245E3BEA5848E0ECDAED7"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical
			 amendment</header><text>The table of sections for part IX of subchapter B of
			 chapter 1 of such Code is amended by adding at the end thereof the following
			 new item:</text>

			 date</header><text>The amendments made by this section shall apply to amounts
			 paid or incurred after December 31, 2011.</text>
