			 subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such
			 provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee

		<section id="H107D3393C7084493B5A8B9B6D5B0958A" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Consolidating unnecessary
			 duplicative and overlapping Government programs</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of law,
			 not later than 150 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Director
			 of the Office of Management and Budget shall coordinate with the heads of the
			 relevant department and agencies to—</text>
			<paragraph id="HEC224D6270CD4F98897DF99884C88092"><enum>(1)</enum><text>use available
			 administrative authority to eliminate, consolidate, or streamline Government
			 programs and agencies with duplicative and overlapping missions identified
			 in—</text>
				<subparagraph id="HA2A236C26E28498984AD89051444F3D8"><enum>(A)</enum><text>the February 2012
			 Government Accountability Office report to Congress, entitled
			 <quote>Opportunities to Reduce Duplication, Overlap and Fragmentation, Achieve
			 Savings, and Enhance Revenue</quote> (GAO–12–342SP); and</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H5969899AB9FB441A98F5DB777B698CAC"><enum>(B)</enum><text>the March 2011
			 Government Accountability Office report to Congress, entitled
			 <quote>Opportunities to Reduce Potential Duplication in Government Programs,
			 Save Tax Dollars, and Enhance Revenue</quote> (GAO–11–318SP) and apply the
			 savings towards deficit reduction;</text>
				</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H8E29F0C81115403A8AB1CCFDB974173D"><enum>(2)</enum><text>identify and
			 report to Congress any legislative changes required to further eliminate,
			 consolidate, or streamline Government programs and agencies with duplicative
			 and overlapping missions identified in—</text>
				<subparagraph id="H3C5C9D32988741E1BDE8F72EC7B2472C"><enum>(A)</enum><text>the February 2012
			 Government Accountability Office report to Congress, entitled
			 <quote>Opportunities to Reduce Duplication, Overlap and Fragmentation, Achieve
			 Savings, and Enhance Revenue</quote> (GAO–12–342SP); and</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HE8F9C994E71B4D278ABA4FD80A2163C8"><enum>(B)</enum><text>the March 2011
			 Government Accountability Office report to Congress, entitled
			 <quote>Opportunities to Reduce Potential Duplication in Government Programs,
			 Save Tax Dollars, and Enhance Revenue</quote> (GAO–11–318SP);</text>
				</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H87E299910CA24452BF68BA34EE14F54C"><enum>(3)</enum><text>determine the
			 total cost savings that shall result to each agency, office, and department
			 from the actions described in paragraph (1); and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H14E4205E7824483BA17B35C1A98DAF7B"><enum>(4)</enum><text>rescind from the
			 appropriate accounts the amount greater of—</text>
				<subparagraph id="H932D3B2FBC554839BE9F6BE4D9D71E1B"><enum>(A)</enum><text>$10,000,000,000;
			 or</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HA1C791A74F384F2F97BDCC79F5734378"><enum>(B)</enum><text>the total amount
			 of cost savings estimated by paragraph (3).</text>
