		<official-title>To amend the definition of mortgage originator under the
		  Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act to include certain
		  employees of a retailer of manufactured homes.</official-title>

		<section id="HFAD6ED71F7624F2E8ACD973A0FCAE143" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Mortgage originator
			 definition</header>
			<subsection id="HD52ED8B6D5804A08B59A1BF187330DEC"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Amendment to
			 definition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1401 of
			 the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act is amended, in
			 paragraph (2)(C)(ii) of the matter proposed to be added to section 103 of the
			 Truth in Lending Act, by striking <quote>who is not described in clause (i) or
			 (iii) of subparagraph (A) and who does not advise a consumer on loan terms
			 (including rates, fees, and other costs)</quote> and inserting <quote>unless
			 such employee receives compensation or gain for engaging in activities
			 described in subparagraph (A) that is in excess of any compensation or gain
			 received in a comparable cash transaction</quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H5F888ADA4F434852A0F317AAB2153D17"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Technical
			 amendments</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">(1) Section 1401
			 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act is amended, in
			 the matter proposed to be added to section 103 of the Truth in Lending Act, by
			 redesignating subsection (cc) as subsection (dd).</text>
				<paragraph id="H433C410C393044859CC26B100CF56DA8" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Section 1431(d) of the Dodd-Frank
			 Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act is amended—</text>
					<subparagraph id="H8CF2EE9E040841188210E442A8FB9A6D"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking <quote>subsection
			 (cc)</quote> and inserting <quote>subsection (dd)</quote>; and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H1E5A41F73D83496DBE2F843CEED6395B"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in the matter proposed to be added to
			 section 103 of the Truth in Lending Act by redesignating subsection (dd) as
			 subsection (ee).</text>
