<official-title display="yes">To amend the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 to consolidate certain CBO reporting requirements.</official-title>

<section id="H25461711BE494D4D9F4A06157573813A" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Consolidation of certain CBO reporting requirements relating to ARRA and TARP</header> 
<subsection id="HCBD88D580EF14763A415048FD8680285"><enum>(a)</enum><header>ARRA-Related reports</header> 
<paragraph id="HD02F8B43DA44439F813B4ABAA08A6B7C"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Section 1512(e) of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Public Law 111–5; 123 Stat. 288) is amended by amending the second sentence to read as follows: <quote>Such comments on all reports for calendar quarters in a year shall be due 45 days after the report for the last calendar quarter of the year is submitted.</quote>.</text> </paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HDF8A76B094BC4D73ABECA9214A2807A4"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendment made by paragraph (1) shall apply to comments on reports submitted on or after October 1, 2012.</text> </paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H68D70A4B0F6647798B94D47272F3F385"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Repealer</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Effective on January 1, 2016, section 1512(e) of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is repealed.</text> </paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="HF6FCEEC50E904D50B7B901DFC37C89AC"><enum>(b)</enum><header>TARP-Related reports</header> 
<paragraph id="H995BD16D1CFB4F8B994DC17B0194AAF4"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Section 202 of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (12 U.S.C. 5252) is amended—</text> 
<subparagraph id="H531014B913A54C2DBFE4F368A9FB0527"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subsection (a), by striking <quote>semiannually</quote> and inserting <quote>annually</quote>; and</text> </subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HC7A74326868B4CC38825C12729613ABB"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following new subsection:</text>

<subsection id="H6E589088C8C14D51B45C33F1473245A4"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Sunset</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding the previous provisions of this section, the reporting and comment requirements under this section shall terminate with the annual period on the last day of which all troubled assets acquired by the Secretary under section 101 have been sold or transferred out of the ownership or control of the Federal Government.</text> </subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </subparagraph></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H54F9CD59A65E448CBC3CEA18795C85DF"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendments made by this subsection shall take effect the first day after the date of enactment of this Act.</text> </paragraph></subsection></section>
