		<official-title>To amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to
		  require an individual who applies for a motor vehicle driver’s license in a new
		  State to indicate whether the new State is to serve as the individual’s
		  residence for purposes of registering to vote in elections for Federal office,
		  and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="H458379C768D34852A6DABD838DCCE3C4" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Voter Registration Integrity
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HED1001C0005B45C4956D0F9DF59BC1F6"><enum>2.</enum><header>Requiring
			 applicants for motor vehicle driver’s licenses in new state to indicate whether
			 state serves as residence for voter registration purposes</header>
			<subsection id="H7DE6F0D2E2F747329CE81FA892D24BC0"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Requirements for
			 applicants for licenses</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 5(d) of the National Voter
			 Registration Act of 1993 (42 U.S.C. 1973gg–3(d)) is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="HE917CD8C55A24FF38FB6B1884D1304C2"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>Any change</quote> and inserting <quote>(1) Any change</quote>;
			 and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H32C4D7933E9045C0BFBFFA788CEF387C"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following new paragraph:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H98039688402E4BEC9D4514F846FFD614" style="USC">
						<paragraph id="H5121607F267C4C93A400F3B2989C2193" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H310EA758F1404A38A08D4BBFA20880D2"><enum>(A)</enum><text>A State motor vehicle
				authority shall require each individual applying for a motor vehicle driver’s
				license in the State—</text>
								<clause id="HC648B75091604618872ECB7AB6BEFF29" indent="up1"><enum>(i)</enum><text>to indicate whether the individual
				resides in another State or resided in another State prior to applying for the
				license, and, if so, to identify the State involved; and</text>
								</clause><clause id="H7E67A4A3AA7E464F9EE0B2EDF881B454" indent="up1"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>to indicate whether the individual
				intends for the State to serve as the individual’s residence for purposes of
				registering to vote in elections for Federal office.</text>
								</clause></subparagraph><subparagraph id="H4A6756D624724CBB8686A814A588E2E6" indent="up1"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">If pursuant to subparagraph (A)(ii) an
				individual indicates to the State motor vehicle authority that the individual
				intends for the State to serve as the individual’s residence for purposes of
				registering to vote in elections for Federal office, the authority shall notify
				the motor vehicle authority of the State identified by the individual pursuant
				to subparagraph (A)(i), who shall notify the chief State election official of
				such State that the individual no longer intends for that State to serve as the
				individual’s residence for purposes of registering to vote in elections for
				Federal
				office.</text>
							</subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H587FA07A92874ED083AB7D40BEC0220E"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendments made by subsection (a) shall take effect with
			 respect to elections occurring in 2014 or any succeeding year.</text>
