		  compensation as a highly paid lobbyist shall be ineligible to concurrently

		<section id="HC67CE9FCCA9C468386A1D4CD687BDC48" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Congressional Double Dipping Pension
			 Prevention Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HED29E0887DB84A13A0716A32AA307277"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition on
			 taxpayer-funded pensions for Members of Congress who become highly paid
			 lobbyists</header>
			<subsection id="HEB2E75C7EF0A4804BEA3119D87C4A7C3"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any former Member of
			 Congress who is registered as a lobbyist, and whose annual income from lobbying
			 activities exceeds $1,000,000, shall not be eligible to receive benefits under
			 either the Civil Service Retirement System or the Federal Employees' Retirement
			 System for the period of time during which such former Member is employed as
			 such a lobbyist and receiving from lobbying activities an annual income that
			 exceeds $1,000,000.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H630813DCE1A94D90918C31AD9FBEFB4A"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Definition</header><text>For
			 purposes of this section, the term <term>former Member of Congress</term> means
			 an individual who becomes a former Member of Congress after the date of the
			 enactment of this Act.</text>
