		<section id="HA43B6C3999324AF4B4BB5C37D87A1AE6" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Preventing the approval of
			 genetically engineered fish</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 512(a) of the Federal Food, Drug,
			 and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 360b(a)) is amended by adding at the end the
			 following new paragraph:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H379F7A66D8B64061AF275F8C06656011" style="OLC">
				<paragraph id="H768E072ADEDF4AD9B19CB2D5ABA2486D"><enum>(7)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of this
				section, a genetically engineered fish shall be deemed unsafe under this
				section, including for purposes of section
				402(a)(2)(C)(ii).</text>
