		<official-title>To amend the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 to require
		  responsible parties to pay the full cost of offshore oil spills, and for other

		<section id="HB82CB405A4E34D67A5D5E3137E3F7B10" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Big Oil Bailout Prevention Act of
			 2011</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H307AB36E8C8E4729AA523A9FA4D68CA0" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Removal of limits on
			 liability for offshore facilities</header>
			<subsection id="H7012F67810DC418EACA6EB2F5DFA19ED"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1004(a) of
			 the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="HB7A9D681415943859BC31F3532FCFEA4"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (2),
			 by inserting <quote>and</quote> after the semicolon;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H98C87ADCFB864E449FCBD9EE8C0EC467"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking
			 paragraph (3); and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HD0EC5DA9FCDE42119B2C43D24BCE6C71"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by redesignating
			 paragraph (4) as paragraph (3).</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HEAC531B0EBFB44CF9C551865EA4CABAE"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming
			 amendments</header><text>Section 1004(b)(2) of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 is
			 amended by striking the second sentence.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HE2090B254AA248CAA2513150B59978B7"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendments made by this section take effect on April 15,
			 2010.</text>
