		<official-title>To amend title 39, United States Code, to suspend bonus
		  authority with respect to the Postmaster General and certain other postal
		  officials in any year in which a postal retail facility or mail processing
		  facility is closed, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="H6A85150C13244FF1BF4C5ECC3C07547D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Postal Executive Accountability
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HB358CD78FEC44D4881D0894F440EF368"><enum>2.</enum><header>Restriction on
			 bonus authority</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 404(d)
			 of title 39, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HF5E5A7317AB745D09B3F6DDFCF2F32E7" style="USC">
				<paragraph id="HEA8DE98DD87A42EFB37A1796FB19A72D" indent="up1"><enum>(7)</enum><header>Restriction on bonus
				authority</header>
					<subparagraph id="H7AA29BA166104C4A860C45C8556A9412"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text>No bonus or
				other reward may, under authority of section 3686 or any other provision of
				law, be made to the Postmaster General or any other officer of the Postal
				Service in a senior executive position in any year in which any postal retail
				facility or mail processing facility is closed.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HDCB21DD31C9844DEA79EB5E5B47F259F"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text>For
				purposes of this paragraph—</text>
						<clause id="H44903F1ACA454D45A011282E9E4ED3F5"><enum>(i)</enum><text>the term <term>postal retail
				facility</term> means a post office, post office branch, post office classified
				station, or other facility which is operated by the Postal Service, and the
				primary function of which is to provide retail postal services; and</text>
						</clause><clause id="H73E6E95FD586404C8EC319FD0A5A057A"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>the term <term>mail processing
				facility</term> means a processing and distribution center, processing and
				distribution facility, network distribution center, or other facility which is
				operated by the Postal Service, and the primary function of which is to sort
				and process mail.</text>
						</clause></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
		</section><section id="HDB6B91CFDF474505AF5EC5035BEDAA95"><enum>3.</enum><header>Cap on executive
			 pay</header>
			<subsection id="H3B0CC304C52C497CB6F9A0ABE7402675"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subsections (b) and
			 (c) of section 3686 of title 39, United States Code, are repealed.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H210EBA14E63846749388545349F39473"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming
			 amendment</header><text>Section 3686(d) of such title is amended by striking
			 <quote>period which would not have been allowable but for the provisions of
			 subsection (b) or (c); </quote> and inserting <quote>period;</quote>.</text>
