		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H915D19B8E5DE4C9CA8E8167D3DAE8D83" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Public Housing Drug Elimination Program Reauthorization Act
			 of 2011</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H7AD946EB2939442DAD723CF6AE159501"><enum>2.</enum><header>Public and
			 assisted housing drug elimination program</header>
			<subsection id="H7DC03872D88A4F69A1C541051329E1F5"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Authorization of
			 Appropriations</header><text>Section 5129 of the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988
			 (42 U.S.C. 11908) is amended by striking subsection (a) and inserting the
			 following new subsection:</text>
				<quoted-block id="HDC377EE48049404983550DBBECA44502" style="OLC">
					<subsection id="HC7F4648341D34AF5A5F8A1E9EA4EE547"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
				General</header><text>There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this
				chapter such sums as may be necessary for each of fiscal years 2012, 2013, and
				2014.</text>
					</subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H20C802A9F7A141759540E7921A38D365"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Eligible
			 Activities</header><text>Section 5124(a)(6) of the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988
			 (42 U.S.C. 11903(a)(6)) is amended by striking the semicolon at the end and
			 inserting the following: “, except that the activities conducted under any
			 program carried out in whole or in part with grant amounts provided pursuant to
			 this paragraph may include only—</text>

					<subparagraph id="H1F73BBFFF95244168E5FFCCB5441EEB2"><enum>(A)</enum><text>providing
				treatment for drug abuse through rehabilitation or relapse prevention;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H81BB8A852DD14B9EBC27696D4D877A3C"><enum>(B)</enum><text>providing
				education about the dangers and adverse consequences of drug use or violent
				crime;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HEF0A62AD19F54DA1B3A53CB2EFF76FF9"><enum>(C)</enum><text>identifying drug
				users, assisting such users in discontinuing their drug use through an
				education program, and, if appropriate, referring the users to a drug treatment
				program;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HF02B3C870E7C493C80484EF30F6B2374"><enum>(D)</enum><text>providing after
				school activities for youths for the purpose of discouraging, reducing, or
				eliminating drug use or violent crime by youths;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H7B800E09F0124514A39395DF81497ED3"><enum>(E)</enum><text>providing capital
				improvements for the purpose of discouraging, reducing, or eliminating drug use
				or violent crime; and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HD1F910E1244A47FAACCD8C7F9E0F4D9D"><enum>(F)</enum><text>providing security
				services for the purpose of discouraging, reducing, or eliminating drug use or
				violent
				crime;</text>
