		<official-title>To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to increase
		  the alternative minimum tax exemption amount and index such amount for
		  inflation.</official-title>

		<section id="HE5AE3F4F66FC4E3287C627762D768B89" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Permanent increased
			 alternative minimum tax exemption amount indexed for inflation</header>
			<subsection id="HCC1153C120704051B1E4A83632B29DB9"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Increase</header><text>Paragraph
			 (1) of section 55(d) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="H0855669AE9C346D8B89DFAFD51E14F20"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>$45,000 ($72,450 in the case of taxable years beginning in 2010 and
			 $74,450 in the case of taxable years beginning in 2011)</quote> in subparagraph
			 (A) and inserting <quote>$100,000</quote>, and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H3195B228C114478889421927AAC311DF"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>$33,750 ($47,450 in the case of taxable years beginning in 2010 and
			 $48,450 in the case of taxable years beginning in 2011)</quote> in subparagraph
			 (B) and inserting <quote>$75,000</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H9CC87D443ECE48EFA9FBF2E2DE9CDA03"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Inflation
			 adjustment</header><text>Subsection (d) of section 55 of such Code is amended
			 by adding at the end the following new paragraph:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HCA9784DD0B9940AD9799D85FBB58439C" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="H3E48C5DA803447F0BBE2B135C995E075"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Inflation
				adjustment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In the case of any
				taxable year beginning after 2012, the dollar amounts in subparagraphs (A) and
				(B) of paragraph (1) shall each be increased by an amount equal to—</text>
						<subparagraph id="H0EDD5B5C6572494F8AFCBBF30945B603"><enum>(A)</enum><text>such dollar
				amount, multiplied by</text>
						</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H99B0C9464D524950AE899D30510655DC"><enum>(B)</enum><text>the cost-of-living
				adjustment determined under section 1(f)(3) for the calendar year in which the
				taxable year begins, determined by substituting <quote>calendar year
				2011</quote> for <quote>calendar year 1992</quote> in subparagraph (B)
				thereof.</text>
						</subparagraph><continuation-text continuation-text-level="paragraph">If any
				amount as adjusted under the preceding sentence is not a multiple of $100, such
				amount shall be rounded to the next lowest multiple of
				$100.</continuation-text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="HF0F873C10005426CB92800F552D7159B"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective
			 Date</header><text>The amendments made by this section shall apply to taxable
			 years beginning after December 31, 2011.</text>
