<section id="HED9C19984BB241AFA2643C2C1CC316CF" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Public Housing Tenants Respect Act of 2011</short-title></quote>. </text></section> 
<section id="H376AA6C8391D49D18AA2932EEB09C94F"><enum>2.</enum><header>Repeal of public housing community service and family self-sufficiency requirements</header> 
<subsection id="HBCD1F746456A4145993A392F64E4A282"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In General</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 12 of the United States Housing Act of 1937 (42 U.S.C. 1437j) is amended by striking subsections (c) through (g).</text> </subsection> 
<subsection id="H3447938A66054C828727343C4EBF64E0"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming Amendments</header> <text>The United States Housing Act of 1937 is amended—</text>
<paragraph id="H42C9FB00064B499C8730DA2CB719C55B"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in section 5A(d)(12) (42 U.S.C. 1437c–1(d)(12))—</text>
<subparagraph id="H22351642A94B4BEE9BA26B55C4B0B34B"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph (A), by inserting <quote>and</quote> after the semicolon;</text> </subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="HF66BAB740CC244BBA413DFF65E4E1773"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B), by striking the semicolon and inserting a period; and</text></subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="HA95BCC7E5F0544DC9FAFA0FF4D580540"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by striking subparagraph (C);</text></subparagraph></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HC01404AD488D448E94AE2F2714F7B3C4"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in section 6(l)(1) (42 U.S.C. 1437d(l)(1)), by striking <quote>except for noncompliance</quote> and all that follows through <quote>based on such noncompliance</quote>; and</text> </paragraph>
<paragraph id="HA5C94CCB2DD44B4998A8C207DC90D843"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in section 9(e)(1)(H) (42 U.S.C. 1437g(e)(1)(H)), by striking <quote>a public housing work program under section 12</quote> and inserting <quote>any program that provides work for residents of public housing</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection> </section>
