		<section id="HA6B1E1AA3D004E3BBA9EEB1D32E6705E" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Family Educational Records Privacy Extension
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H890EA97ED408437181FFB912F79889EA"><enum>2.</enum><header>Requiring
			 parental consent to release records of home-schooled students</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Subsection (a) of section 444 of the General
			 Education Provisions Act (20 U.S.C. 1232g) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HD24290198229423D84457954E2EEEF7F"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph
			 (5)(B), by striking <quote>attending the institution or agency</quote> and
			 inserting <quote>for whom the agency or institution maintains education
			 records, including home-schooled students,</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H5CE326A81F4E4C25A65A633239ACEEBA"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in paragraph (6), by striking <quote>but
			 does not include a person who has not been in attendance at such agency or
			 institution</quote> and inserting <quote>including home-schooled
			 students</quote>.</text>
