		<official-title>To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to treat
		  certain population census tracts for which information is not available as
		  low-income communities for purposes of the new markets tax
		  credit.</official-title>

		<section id="H5B3D8C064A0844058453C89DFB681C16" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Certain population census
			 tracts for which information is not available made eligible for new markets tax
			 credit</header>
			<subsection id="HD5ADE6E06EA94F26A47008F4F7617EDA"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subsection (e) of
			 section 45D of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by adding at the
			 end the following new paragraph:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HA073C1E1FEA6485BAC5647A9486CA466" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="id95977DEB4DC846EAA2A32DC42B82A006"><enum>(6)</enum><header>Special rule
				for tracts for which information is not available</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In the case of a population census tract
				with respect to which the Secretary determines there is insufficient
				information to determine whether such tract is a low-income community
				(determined without regard to this paragraph), such tract shall be treated as a
				low-income community if—</text>
						<subparagraph id="id5B3EC4195CFA4F5CA9EC092B2AEB0947"><enum>(A)</enum><text>such tract is
				adjacent to two or more low-income communities (determined without regard to
				this paragraph), and</text>
						</subparagraph><subparagraph id="id8489F81AB3FD4A909189B62B0279251C"><enum>(B)</enum><text>the Secretary
				does not have information indicating that such tract is not a low-income
				community (as so
				determined).</text>
						</subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H0215FC6F0FF4447A8A6C2B29CA520295"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendment made by this section shall apply to
			 investments made after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
