		  certain forms of firearms trafficking.</official-title>

		<section id="H542D6DAE944D4C2881BC0992256BD5D6" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Border Security Enhancement Act of
			 2011</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H44B6A283E198437E8E5C6F973E7474C4" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Increase in maximum
			 penalty for certain intentionally false statements relating to
			 firearms</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 924(a) of
			 title 18, United States Code, is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="H2A5B28030A5E430AAB2BD01D2984630A"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1),
			 by striking subparagraph (A) and redesignating subparagraphs (B) through (D) as
			 subparagraphs (A) through (C), respectively; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HD1CEA8E5E0394F35A6132AC35F585140"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H045E7715B4504C6DA28130A43B756B7E" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="H3FC0097DB8424FE7B5D9434A1AEFEADD" indent="up1"><enum>(8)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Except as otherwise provided in this
				subsection, subsection (b), (c), (f), or (p) of this section, or in section
				929, whoever knowingly makes any false statement or representation with respect
				to the information required by this chapter to be kept in the records of a
				person licensed under this chapter or in applying for any license or exemption
				or relief from disability under this chapter shall be fined under this title,
				imprisoned not more than 10 years, or
				both.</text>

			</paragraph></section><section id="HF33337FAAFCE4EC7A842D8017F60F958"><enum>3.</enum><header>Certain
			 firearms-related offenses considered to be specified unlawful
			 activity</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1956(c)(7)(D)
			 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by inserting after <quote>section
			 922(1) (relating to the unlawful importation of firearms),</quote> the
			 following: <quote>section 924(a)(1)(A) (relating to misrepresentations relating
			 to firearms),</quote>.</text>
