		<official-title>To increase the statutory limit on the public debt,
		  increase job creation, and reduce projected medium and long-term Federal budget
		  deficits and debt.</official-title>

		<section id="H806D6DF3EB8F4C159196D804D78656C0" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Don’t Default on America’s Debts and
			 Destroy American Jobs Act of 2011</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H9BDC63EE0BA24666B8BA6857EBE85A30"><enum>2.</enum><header>Increase in
			 statutory limit on the public debt</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Subsection (b) of section 3101 of title 31,
			 United States Code, is amended by striking out the dollar limitation contained
			 in such subsection and inserting in lieu thereof
			 <quote>$16,700,000,000,000</quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HC60EA47434C34FFE8A3E309068F6F2F1"><enum>3.</enum><header>Sense of
			 Congress</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">It is the sense of
			 Congress that the Congressional recess scheduled for August 2011 should be
			 cancelled and that Congress should remain in official session until legislation
			 is passed to—</text>
			<paragraph id="H15EF069DDF52442DA7566759043189F7"><enum>(1)</enum><text>increase job
			 creation and reduce unemployment; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HFCA5182BC7914A55A4872E749121508B"><enum>(2)</enum><text>reduce projected
			 medium- and long-term Federal budget deficits and debt.</text>
