		<official-title>To amend title 36, United States Code, to encourage the
		  nationwide observance of two minutes of silence each Veterans

		<section id="HDE8B5E404CE640C990C13372B38B7D77" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Veterans Day Moment of Silence
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HF1B127E0001048CB985EE285BE6BF50E"><enum>2.</enum><header>Observance of
			 Veterans Day</header>
			<subsection id="HD91ADA210AF547D49B249DEBF8E3AF06"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Two minutes of
			 silence</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Chapter 1 of title
			 36, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 section:</text>
				<quoted-block id="H2452E59AE402451CB4BACE1A0F847DB3" style="USC">
					<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H5A312A6F5D3246BF86E4755DD8C7FF50"><enum>145.</enum><header>Veterans
				Day</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The President shall issue
				each year a proclamation calling on the people of the United States to observe
				two minutes of silence on Veterans Day, beginning at 2:11 p.m. eastern time, in
				honor of the service and sacrifice of veterans throughout the history of the
				Nation.</text>

			</subsection><subsection id="H25479671AD4F459490063699FE248DFB"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical
			 amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The table of
			 sections for chapter 1 of title 36, United States Code, is amended by adding at
			 the end the following new item:</text>
