		  authorize appropriations for the Administrative Conference of the United States
		  for fiscal years 2012, 2013, and 2014, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HA0F077140779411CB22D101A8A7CA7FD" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Administrative Conference of the
			 United States Reauthorization Act of 2011</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section changed="deleted" committee-id="SSJU00" id="H1FA0ECDE0DF14031B5E5013C962A458D" reported-display-style="strikethrough"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authorization of
			 appropriations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/596">Section 596</external-xref> of title
			 5, United States Code, is amended to read as follows:</text>

				<section id="H30181F1208D24856BD0EFDE125B44CE8"><enum>596.</enum><header>Authorization
				of appropriations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">There are
				authorized to be appropriated to carry out this subchapter not more than
				$2,900,000 for fiscal year 2012, $2,900,000 for fiscal year 2013, and
				$2,900,000 for fiscal year 2014. Of any amounts appropriated under this
				section, not more than $2,500 may be made available in each fiscal year for
				official representation and entertainment expenses for foreign
				dignitaries.</text>

			 appropriations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 596 of
			 title 5, United States Code, is amended to read as follows:</text>

				<section id="IDa512cff4221641768e659f034f5ba6d8"><enum>596.</enum><header>Authorization of
				appropriations</header>
					<subsection id="IDfd51059ee2e54d4089905a0ed29e576c"><enum>(a)</enum><text>There are authorized to
				be appropriated to carry out this subchapter not more than $2,900,000 for
				fiscal year 2012, $2,900,000 for fiscal year 2013, and $2,900,000 for fiscal
				year 2014.</text>
					</subsection><subsection id="id301DD231F7CF4FF8A5707110E13417C9"><enum>(b)</enum><text>Of any amounts
				appropriated under this section, not more than $2,500 may be made available in
				each fiscal year for official representation and entertainment expenses for
				foreign dignitaries.</text>
					</subsection><subsection id="ID9a68caba06334175994b2138356844cb"><enum>(c)</enum><text>Of any amounts
				appropriated under this section, not less than 35 percent shall be made
				available in each fiscal year for projects described in reports of the
				Administrative Conference required under section
				595(d).</text>
					</subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
		</section><section changed="added" committee-id="SSJU00" id="id8A093ED8F0444B49A37669C1F191525E" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>3.</enum><header>Reports and
			 audits</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 595 of title 5,
			 United States Code, is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="id12B0A0EBC4044E0FB9D343F46C57E829"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking the last sentence; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="id3B1D4B86E77D4A398B5FE290A0E6C2A9"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by adding at the end the following:</text>

					<subsection id="ID70f12f71c82d46558299c784bf20dbe4"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Reports; audits; and
				budgets</header>
						<paragraph id="ID8d780a3766e2407cb400140b33a36d9b"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Annual reports</header>
							<subparagraph id="id8AA79A6780C046658C0A72146CB19A97"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In
				general</header><text>Not later than 90 days after the end of each fiscal year,
				the Chairman shall submit a report to the President and Congress on the
				progress and activities of the Conference.</text>
							</subparagraph><subparagraph id="id08F0F5A91C4E4803885970B9AE877B23"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Contents</header><text>Each
				report submitted under this paragraph shall—</text>
								<clause id="ID19c4cfeb620c425e871d929aa664510d"><enum>(i)</enum><text>summarize the operations
				of the Conference for the preceding fiscal year, including financial details
				and employee levels as applicable to each major division of the
				Conference;</text>
								</clause><clause id="ID1c807cefeaed4e61a7d064a4af98b181"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>detail the operating
				plan of the Conference, including specific expense and employee needs for the
				upcoming fiscal year;</text>
								</clause><clause id="IDbeec051b60c1411bba6a507698c4616c"><enum>(iii)</enum><text>outline the activities
				of the Council and the Assembly, including the results of its plenary sessions
				and meetings, and the names of the individuals who comprise the membership of
				each body;</text>
								</clause><clause id="ID5037bfb3aecc4e49a597fae279043a67"><enum>(iv)</enum><text>describe all current
				projects the Conference is conducting and those proposed future projects the
				Conference plans to undertake, including the approximate cost and employee
				resources allocated to each project;</text>
								</clause><clause id="ID5680d2622f94488ba545cef8bed11d6a"><enum>(v)</enum><text>set forth details of any
				progress on such projects made in the previous fiscal year;</text>
								</clause><clause id="ID528451095f1a4e2b99641f8e26b40b76"><enum>(vi)</enum><text>include the most recent
				audit conducted under paragraph (2); and</text>
								</clause><clause id="ID9e4ad0eb583e4adc9d66581866f61df9"><enum>(vii)</enum><text>include any other
				information the Chairman considers necessary.</text>
								</clause></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="ID25a2e5736e6045579e220d68b39c8381"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Audits</header><text>For
				each fiscal year, the Chairman shall provide for an independent audit of the
				financial statements of the Conference. Each audit shall be conducted in
				accordance with generally acceptable accounting procedures and in compliance
				with section 3515 of title 31.</text>
						</paragraph><paragraph id="IDbb3412c1040646148b5102816db2d6a9"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Budgets</header><text>The
				Chairman shall prepare and submit each year to the President and Congress a
				budget in a manner, and not later than the date, set forth in chapter 11 of
				title
				31.</text>
