Short title

This Act may be cited as the Flood Control Facility Maintenance Clarification Act.

Permits for dredged or fill material

Section 404(f) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (42 U.S.C. 1344(f)) is amended— (1)in paragraph (1)(B) by inserting channels, basins, after such as; and (2)by adding at the end the following: (3)For the purposes of paragraph (1)(B), the term maintenance includes the removal of sediment, debris, and vegetation from structures described in that paragraph. .
