		<official-title display="yes">To direct the Secretary of the Interior to
		  install in the area of the World War II Memorial in the District of Columbia a
		  suitable plaque or an inscription with the words that President Franklin D.
		  Roosevelt prayed with the Nation on June 6, 1944, the morning of
		  D-Day.</official-title>

		<section id="H7C7C0B0112A94582BDB2CB5798942F95" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>World War II Memorial Prayer Act of
			 2012</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H2F764D5FDF8C4616A476BA3FADBAD86C"><enum>2.</enum><header>Placement of
			 plaque or inscription at world war II memorial</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Secretary of the Interior—</text>
			<paragraph id="H0479E5E2008E45AC8BD02973F7F866BD"><enum>(1)</enum><text>shall install in
			 the area of the World War II Memorial in the District of Columbia a suitable
			 plaque or an inscription with the words that President Franklin D. Roosevelt
			 prayed with the Nation on June 6, 1944, the morning of D-Day;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H3B9D78CE3F14423591F96F51B0B27797"><enum>(2)</enum><text>shall design,
			 procure, prepare, and install the plaque or inscription referred to in
			 paragraph (1); and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H7549E49912B54B0BB593FFCB5B1C8B6D"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">may not use Federal funds to prepare or
			 install the plaque or inscription referred to in paragraph (1), but may accept
			 and expend private contributions for this purpose.</text>
			</paragraph></section><section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H40896D6981074313B6A8CC7602E3E3F6" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>3.</enum><header>Commemorative Works
			 Act</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/40/89">Chapter
			 89</external-xref> of title 40, United States Code, (commonly known as the
			 <quote>Commemorative Works Act</quote>) shall not apply to this Act.</text>
