		<official-title>To amend the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965
		  to ensure that amounts are made available for projects to provide recreational
		  public access, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HD549E65C5C6147CFA6DCEF4B4ABC564C" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Making Public Lands Public Access
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HD65F7955DCF040CE90D099B9EDCD5769"><enum>2.</enum><header>Availability of
			 land and Water Conservation Fund for recreational public access
			 projects</header>
			<subsection id="H4D79A1D2E2FA415CA52BABC9AB2DF8CA"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 3 of the Land
			 and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (16 U.S.C. 460<italic>l</italic>–6) is
			 amended to read as follows:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HBC9877AFCCE04A3DA72D05E3619B8A44" style="OLC">
					<section id="H49EABDBF99ED4467B5FA2332D1E143F4"><enum>3.</enum><header>Availability of
				funds for certain projects</header>
						<subsection id="H8D0A30B49B61451087DFA9174B4F11B9"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
				general</header><text>Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, the
				Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture shall ensure that,
				of the amounts requested for the fund for each fiscal year, not less than the
				greater of 1.5 percent of the amounts or $10,000,000 shall be made available
				for projects identified on the priority list developed under subsection
				(b).</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="HBAFD3A77F2F945F5B67C0E8C943344B5"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Priority
				list</header><text>The Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of
				Agriculture, in consultation with the head of each affected Federal agency,
				shall annually develop a priority list for the sites under the jurisdiction of
				the applicable Secretary.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="HD84FF788CC59415AA8A4EF947E5D50B9"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Criteria</header><text>Projects
				identified on the priority list developed under subsection (b) shall secure
				recreational public access to Federal public land in existence as of the date
				of enactment of this section that has significantly restricted access for
				hunting, fishing, and other recreational purposes through rights-of-way or
				acquisition of land (or any interest in land) from willing
				sellers.</text>
						</subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H767DEC3553994872AAD7087924C7B15F"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming
			 amendments</header>
				<paragraph id="H68C364EF16C146B181EDF002A263F466"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Land and Water
			 Conservation Fund Act</header><text>The Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of
			 1965 (16 U.S.C. 460<italic>l</italic>–4 et seq.) is amended—</text>
					<subparagraph id="HD8191A57BF5F4F6A955D377C320D94EC"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in the proviso at
			 the end of section 2(c)(2) (16 U.S.C. 460<italic>l</italic>–5(c)(2)), by
			 striking <quote>notwithstanding the provisions of section 3 of this
			 Act</quote>;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H75E19EEB0E1D4317A65A1B3D03947A41"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in the first
			 sentence of section 9 (16 U.S.C. 460<italic>l</italic>–10a), by striking
			 <quote>by section 3 of this Act</quote>; and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H1A8A11DEB3E34CDA97B717A24ECF64AF"><enum>(C)</enum><text>in the third
			 sentence of section 10 (16 U.S.C. 460<italic>l</italic>–10b), by striking
			 <quote>by section 3 of this Act</quote>.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HF2741682F3B043ED92AE276837AD7ABC"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Federal Land
			 Transaction Facilitation Act</header><text>Section 206(f)(2) of the Federal
			 Land Transaction Facilitation Act (43 U.S.C. 2305(f)(2)) is amended by striking
			 <quote>section 3 of the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act (16 U.S.C.
			 460<italic>l</italic>–6)</quote> and inserting <quote>the Land and Water
			 Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (16 U.S.C. 460<italic>l</italic>–4 et
			 seq.)</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body>
