		<section id="HD3CAB328031849C7994E76E10EBC467D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Pakistan Foreign Aid Accountability
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H451CAB0A03E745BC9B733C197B3A44C5"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition on
			 assistance to Pakistan</header>
			<subsection id="HF05E8B98DAE84C02BDC607B954B3FD49"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Prohibition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Assistance may not be provided to Pakistan
			 under any provision of law unless the Secretary of State certifies to Congress
			 that—</text>
				<paragraph id="H6D902CD5AA714121A5B0C8EE7902EE87"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the Government of Pakistan did not have any
			 information regarding Osama bin Laden’s possible whereabouts on or after
			 September 11, 2001; or</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H7DB1C2FD34F449288DD856B02EA873AE"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">if the Government of Pakistan did have
			 information regarding Osama bin Laden’s possible whereabouts on or after
			 September 11, 2001, it communicated such information to the United States
			 Government in an expedited manner.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H3A10D1CE89DA49918CAF0D742E1AE841"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Form of
			 certification</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A certification
			 described in subsection (a) shall be submitted—</text>
				<paragraph id="HF2B83FBD19AB467BBEFCCF91104B31FB"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in writing and
			 include specific findings and conclusions; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HF896C7211BFF4315A1D5F82E06C7233C"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in unclassified
			 form, but may contain a classified annex if necessary.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H1751781A617248149A32045E95EAED2A"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>This Act shall take effect on the date of the enactment of
			 this Act and shall apply with respect to amounts allocated for assistance to
			 Pakistan that are unexpended on or after such date.</text>
