		<official-title display="yes">To amend title 38, United States Code, to
		  revise the enforcement penalties for misrepresentation of a business concern as
		  a small business concern owned and controlled by veterans or as a small
		  business concern owned and controlled by service-disabled
		  veterans.</official-title>

		<section id="H484E02CD28434C4BBCAAC1E3D72C6630" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Department of Veterans
			 Affairs enforcement penalties for misrepresentation of a business concern as a
			 small business concern owned and controlled by veterans or as a small business
			 concern owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Subsection (g) of
			 <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/8127">section
			 8127</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="H40BA68E227164E5DA9C61A440E7EF000"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>Any business</quote> and inserting <quote>(1) Any
			 business</quote>;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H6E9A4EF8D41C4807B344F035EE8A27D2"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Secretary</quote> and
			 inserting <quote>a period of not less than five years</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H91F6114755F04DB9B1294555B422F699"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following new paragraphs:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HEE8F167C481E470F95E4A5B37D87D165" style="USC">
					<paragraph id="H00FA7A1BF8D34CC48AB96DFB96E83DB8" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In the case of a debarment under paragraph
				(1), the Secretary shall commence debarment action against the business concern
				by not later than 30 days after determining that the concern misrepresented the
				status of the concern as described in paragraph (1) and shall complete
				debarment actions against such concern by not later than 90 days after such
				determination.</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="H9F05A323E3274BF7BBDB6F71B3B3C07E" indent="up1"><enum>(3)</enum><text>The debarment of a business concern
				under paragraph (1) includes the debarment of all principals in the business
				concern for a period of not less than five
				years.</text>
