		<legis-type>JOINT RESOLUTION</legis-type>
		<official-title display="yes">To authorize the Board of Regents of the
		  Smithsonian Institution to plan, design, and construct a facility and to enter
		  into agreements relating to education programs at the National Zoological Park
		  facility in Front Royal, Virginia.</official-title>

		<section id="id68D6476564F74810B5F1D743D884C6C8" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Authorization for
			 facility</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Board of Regents
			 of the Smithsonian Institution is authorized to plan, design, and construct a
			 facility on National Zoological Park property in Front Royal, Virginia for the
			 purpose of conducting research and educational programs.</text>
		</section><section id="id0D84E40141FA4CA9A359FD067E30B01D" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Agreements for housing
			 and other services</header>
			<subsection id="id3F4D72362E514D0CAC95F89EDB64442D"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>The Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution is
			 authorized to enter into agreements for the provision of housing and other
			 services to the participants in the programs described in section 1.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="idD7317BE46F9F43F28751A364B165E225"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Costs</header><text>The
			 housing and other services described in subsection (a) shall be provided at no
			 cost to the Smithsonian Institution.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="id2BDDAC8E41EB4F43B218E219958D4A3E" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>3.</enum><header>Authorization of
			 appropriations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">There is
			 authorized to be appropriated to carry out section 1—</text>
			<paragraph id="id86A29C5BE4EF43979654E2B9829CEF66"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">$1,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2010
			 and 2011; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="id4547A45D1A33450CB0E7D15F922CC28E"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">$3,000,000 in the aggregate for all
			 succeeding fiscal years.</text>
