		<official-title>To strengthen the United States economy, provide for more
		  effective border and employment enforcement, and for other
		  purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short
			 title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as
			 the <quote><short-title>Stronger Economy, Stronger Borders
			 Act of 2009</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="ID41cd43f373464e21ab066a5897da2a9f"><enum>2.</enum><header>Sense of
			 Congress</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">It is the sense of
			 Congress that Congress should enact, and the President should sign, legislation
			 to strengthen the economy, recognize the heritage of the United States as a
			 nation of immigrants, and amend the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C.
			 1101 et seq.) by—</text>
			<paragraph id="idE3C576E0A9924B4880DCC72AA3FE6E91"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">providing more effective border and
			 employment enforcement;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="idEA242335499C449A89F0574EFAF302DC"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">preventing illegal immigration; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="id83EE6A19A8404742B14E4C6167932876"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">reforming and rationalizing avenues for
			 legal immigration.</text>
