		<official-title>To provide that certain provisions of subchapter I of
		  chapter 35 of title 44, United States Code, relating to Federal information
		  policy shall not apply to the collection of information during any
		  investigation, audit, inspection, evaluation, or other review conducted by any
		  Federal office of Inspector General, and for other purposes. </official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Investigations, audits,
			 inspections, evaluations, and reviews conducted by inspectors
			 general</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 3518(c) of
			 title 44, United States Code, is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="id9705B9A1E2774A908F10D6D5B172EA40"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in paragraph (1), by striking
			 <quote>paragraph (2)</quote> and inserting <quote>paragraph (3)</quote>;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="id72315007435B4B2BBDCB9AD1BA9A7145"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by redesignating
			 paragraph (2) as paragraph (3); and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="idB2EF932AD5D741BC95D5C3F222A5789A"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by inserting
			 after paragraph (1) the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id2287146BA418407AA63AAAAEE6D5D790" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="id943FA146A07D4F2B83BDCF071A295904"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Notwithstanding
				paragraph (3), this subchapter shall not apply to the collection of information
				during the conduct of any investigation, audit, inspection, evaluation, or
				other review conducted by—</text>
						<subparagraph id="idC76F75C029A74F0988B7AFB79AC1FE8B"><enum>(A)</enum><text>any Federal
				office of Inspector General, including—</text>
							<clause id="id6DFD968E04B440F792387D22399551B5"><enum>(i)</enum><text>any office of
				Inspector General of any establishment, Federal entity, or designated Federal
				entity as those terms are defined under sections 12(2), 8G(a)(1), and 8G(a)(2)
				of the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.), respectively; or</text>
							</clause><clause id="id5B0A2AA69B5E4718953B1E177BCAF04A"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>any office of
				Special Inspector General established by statute;</text>
							</clause></subparagraph><subparagraph id="idA6FF25D12112441EA6FC31A19EDAADF0"><enum>(B)</enum><text>the Council of
				the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency established under section 11
				of the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.); or</text>
						</subparagraph><subparagraph id="idBAC7F908675C46FA8EC49257AFE6D736"><enum>(C)</enum><text>the Recovery
				Accountability and Transparency Board established under section 1521 of
				division A of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Public Law
				111–5; 123 Stat.
				289).</text>
