		  and Facilities Act to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to participate in
		  the Magna Water District water reuse and groundwater recharge project, and for
		  other purposes. </official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short
			 title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as
			 the <quote><short-title>Magna Water District Water Reuse
			 and Groundwater Recharge Act of 2009</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H44154411A8514A65B69DE39B803399C0"><enum>2.</enum><header>Magna Water
			 District</header>
			<subsection id="H4051EED7495C4029AF22E177519FE27F"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 General</header><text>The Reclamation Wastewater and Groundwater Study and
			 Facilities Act (43 U.S.C. 390h et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the
			 following:</text>

					<section id="H340C05001421408295B3EA10F5935F52"><enum>1649.</enum><header>Magna Water
				District water reuse and groundwater recharge project, Utah</header>
						<subsection id="H207F62E19BBE4496BAC90028919200CE"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Authorization</header><text>The
				Secretary, in cooperation with the Magna Water District, Utah, may participate
				in the design, planning, and construction of permanent facilities needed to
				establish recycled water distribution and wastewater treatment and reclamation
				facilities that will be used to provide recycled water in the Magna Water
				District.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="HFFA610AD197D412FA7E9008474A89615"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Cost
				Sharing</header>
							<paragraph id="idBD68EA4BB8084DF7932653D45785D385"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Federal
				share</header><text>The Federal share of the capital cost of the project
				described in subsection (a) shall not exceed 25 percent of the total cost of
				the project.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="idB7FAF46FF24C4F35A239ECED07B69226"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Non-Federal
				share</header><text>Each cost incurred by the Magna Water District after
				January 1, 2003, relating to any capital, planning, design, permitting,
				construction, or land acquisition (including the value of reallocated water
				rights) for the project described in subsection (a)
				<deleted-phrase committee-id="SSEG00" reported-display-style="strikethrough">shall</deleted-phrase><added-phrase committee-id="SSEG00" reported-display-style="italic"> may</added-phrase> be
				credited towards the non-Federal share of the costs of the project.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HD6AFFA27841145E1A0C05E14333026B"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Limitation</header><text>Funds
				provided by the Secretary shall not be used for operation or maintenance of the
				project described in subsection (a).</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H9563BD4E95AD49E7A4CCDA01824D78A4"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Authorization of
				Appropriations</header><text>There is authorized to be appropriated to carry
				out this section
				$12,000,000.</text>
						</subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H03D4B90CAD8546638EA202803C78CC87"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming
			 Amendment</header><text>The table of sections in section 2 of the Reclamation
			 Projects Authorization and Adjustment Act of 1992 (43 U.S.C. prec. 371) is
			 amended by inserting after the item relating to section 1638 the
			 following:</text>
