		<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDD3E8C3F925FC42E7BC3201D77BF88152" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Senate Campaign Disclosure Parity
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID0AB0787BD2C54657B024C86C0000DC10" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Senate candidates
			 required to file election reports in electronic form</header>
			<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID24A978BF66164936908113B16C723F8B"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="act" parsable-cite="FECA/304(a)(11)(D)">Section
			 304(a)(11)(D)</external-xref> of the <act-name parsable-cite="FECA">Federal
			 Election Campaign Act of 1971</act-name> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/2/434(a)(11)(D)">2 U.S.C. 434(a)(11)(D)</external-xref>) is
			 amended to read as follows:</text>
				<quoted-block act-name="Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDB87DAABEBA6D4245B5D177A4C1A49BDB" style="OLC">
					<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID8F248051F9DF455EB58C91F36CC11BE1"><enum>(D)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">As used in this paragraph, the terms
				<term>designation</term>, <term>statement</term>, or <term>report</term> mean a
				designation, statement or report, respectively, which—</text>
						<clause commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID10E7303FFEBF42318FD42C709E31CC4B"><enum>(i)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">is required by this Act to be filed with
				the Commission, or</text>
						</clause><clause commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID5D6F24827A1C4B84943D731F5334F6B3"><enum>(ii)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">is required under section 302(g) to be
				filed with the Secretary of the Senate and forwarded by the Secretary to the
				Commission.</text>
						</clause></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDEAB868ED6B3A4ECBB700237C1FA42080"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming
			 amendments</header>
				<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID203A6A88F8B84899972EF577ABA9DFEA"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 302(g)(2) of such Act
			 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/2/432(g)(2)">2 U.S.C.
			 432(g)(2)</external-xref>) is amended by inserting <quote>or 1 working day in
			 the case of a designation, statement, or report filed electronically</quote>
			 after <quote>2 working days</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDFBECFB1CC87F4D3FBEFAEA7F8860C9AA"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 304(a)(11)(B) of such Act
			 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/2/434(a)(11)(B)">2 U.S.C.
			 434(a)(11)(B)</external-xref>) is amended by inserting <quote>or filed with the
			 Secretary of the Senate under section 302(g)(1) and forwarded to the
			 Commission</quote> after <quote>Act</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id64573CF369974809BC024AF0F3D9FF54"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendments made by this section shall apply to
			 designations, statements, and reports for periods beginning on or after January
			 1, 2010.</text>
