		<official-title>To require the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to
		  fully insure Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts.</official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Interest on Lawyers Trust
			 Accounts</header>
			<subsection id="id323E758EBC0C4F8CB3667665AF2B36AD"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Section 11(a)(1)(B)(iii) of the Federal Deposit Insurance
			 Act, as added by section 343 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer
			 Protection Act (Public Law 111–203), is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="H17C41F8423724E69B3AD87E2B8ADAAC7"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by redesignating subclauses (I), (II), and
			 (III) as items (aa), (bb), and (cc), respectively, and adjusting the margins
			 accordingly;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H4F52707D3684473FABB77914CC59E32C"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>means a deposit</quote> and inserting the following: “means—</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H825ABEA386604E0986A5AF6AF913C16B" style="OLC">
						<subclause id="HBCA29BFE1FB9449582D8EEF34A5A243D"><enum>(I)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">a
				deposit</text>
						</subclause><after-quoted-block>;</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H5B74592B8CA74A0881943A5754C68865"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in item (cc), as
			 so redesignated, by striking the period at the end and inserting <quote>;
			 and</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HF6BC5A5A03A84ED69C90C96E1FA5601E"><enum>(4)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HF26F53FFAEBA4B0DAB49A9E215E8114C" style="OLC">
						<subclause id="H4007FEEC98A7480C8FD80E0E493EC274"><enum>(II)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">a trust account established by an attorney
				or law firm on behalf of a client, commonly known as an <quote>Interest on
				Lawyers Trust Account</quote>, or a functionally equivalent account, as
				determined by the
				Corporation.</text>
						</subclause><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H1D125C1361824761BB0EDB93ABAF18E3"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendments made by subsection (a) shall take effect on
			 December 31, 2010.</text>
