		  prevent the approval of genetically-engineered fish.</official-title>

		<section id="HC23F7DD94AC34A13901E61600A88E247" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Preventing the approval of
			 genetically-engineered fish</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 512(a) of the Federal Food, Drug,
			 and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 360b(a)) is amended by adding at the end the
			 following new paragraph:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H3821401C4B2E4EC0B8D59C1DFA7AB91B" style="OLC">
				<paragraph id="H95543A7B00D14FE2B92A55A69C5BF746"><enum>(7)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of this
				section, a genetically-engineered fish shall be deemed unsafe under this
				section, including for purposes of section
				402(a)(2)(C)(ii).</text>
