		<official-title>To amend the Port-to-Portal Act of 1947 to suspend the
		  statute of limitations for certain rights of action under the Fair Labor
		  Standards Act during investigations by the Secretary of Labor.</official-title>

		<section id="H350BCD45188A469F9A1FA41AC2B7F537" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Wage Theft Prevention
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H970CA63737BE432BAA76B0328F2E5442"><enum>2.</enum><header>Tolling of
			 statute of limitations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section
			 6 of the Portal-to-Portal Act (29 U.S.C. 255) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="H19BE903130A14323A43AA803269FE262"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking the
			 period at the end inserting <quote>; and</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H3C54393B663449DABEFF22494338AE77"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H065EBFDBF1E14E418C24B5D694A59690" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="HCC978530C16F4F128EFF6A75FC3C284F"><enum>(e)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">with respect to any eventual cause of
				action described in this section, the running of the statutory periods of
				limitation set forth in this section shall be tolled from the date the
				Secretary of Labor provides notice to the employer of any investigation related
				to such cause of action, until the date the Secretary provides notice to the
				employer that such investigation has
				concluded.</text>
