			 title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as
			 the <quote><short-title>Equal Justice for United States
			 Military Personnel Act of 2009</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id30E40BFDBE8E4FE79CA27FAFDB3FC88F" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Certiorari to the
			 United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces</header>
			<subsection id="id5BB10E1A4E1641F3AE094FD2B2DF627D"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 General</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1259 of title
			 28, United States Code, is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="id3EE6D0E564164025A40C0DF41BA707FD"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (3),
			 by inserting <quote>or denied</quote> after <quote>granted</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id697A1C07DA694735A315AB718FAA484A"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (4),
			 by inserting <quote>or denied</quote> after <quote>granted</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idE7729C6B32EF4B7DA69E94792F8C60D3"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Technical and
			 conforming amendment</header><text>Section 867a(a) of title 10, United States
			 Code, is amended by striking <quote>The Supreme Court may not review by a writ
			 of certiorari under this section any action of the Court of Appeals for the
			 Armed Forces in refusing to grant a petition for review.</quote>.</text>
