		<official-title>To amend the Fair Credit Reporting Act with respect to
		  fair and reasonable fees for credit scores.</official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short
			 title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as
			 the <quote><short-title>Fair Access to Credit Scores Act
			 of 2010</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id579A42845A0241269AAA1A697C6652D2"><enum>2.</enum><header>Repeal of Credit
			 score disclosure fees</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section
			 609(f)(8) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. 1681g(f)(8)) is amended
			 to read as follows:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id6BF759E04DA3459B87B90016E21C8AB5" style="OLC">
				<paragraph id="idB71EEF15BFDE48C09F2F3F867E54E2B7"><enum>(8)</enum><header>Free annual
				credit score</header>
					<subparagraph id="id97CA56096A864FDE94D0F5764500A4A8"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In
				general</header><text>Section 612(a) shall apply to each consumer reporting
				agency described in subsections (p) and (w) of section 603 in making
				disclosures pursuant to this subsection.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="id9E30E6DBFFD64B4D9957F4B05CC3C525"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Reasonable
				fees</header><text>Other than with respect to a free annual disclosure, as
				provided in subparagraph (A) and section 612(a), a consumer reporting agency
				may charge a fair and reasonable fee, as determined by the Commission, for
				providing the information required under this
				subsection.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
		</section><section id="idD9282484FFA74228A9A9D54B789F14B0"><enum>3.</enum><header>Conforming
			 amendment</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 612(a)(1)(A)
			 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. 1681j(a)(1)(A)) is amended by
			 inserting <quote>, including disclosure of a credit score under section
			 609(f)(8),</quote> before <quote>once</quote>.</text>
