		<official-title>To amend the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 to allow States
		  to certify children for participation in the special supplemental nutrition
		  program for women, infants, and children for a period of 1
		  year.</official-title>

			 nutrition program for women, infants, and children</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section
			 17(d)(3)(A) of the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 (42 U.S.C. 1786(d)(3)(A)) is
			 amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="idAA0F5E92E12F45A48F166BD9488FEB4D"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in clause (i), by
			 striking <quote>clause (ii)</quote> and inserting <quote>clauses (ii) and
			 (iii)</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="idC5DC6BA7A51042D8ADAFCA94D4A93A94"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by adding at the end the following:</text>

				State may elect to certify children for a period of 1
