		<section id="H9C04005F2DC044F8A247641191B44722" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Pisgah National Forest Boundary
			 Adjustment Act of 2009</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H03CDF23B135E4C55BF24D168B263DD"><enum>2.</enum><header>Boundary
			 adjustment, Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina</header>
			<subsection id="HC125244C57DA47CEBC31B213313CFCF0"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Boundary
			 adjustment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The boundaries of
			 Pisgah National Forest in McDowell County, North Carolina, are modified to
			 include a parcel of land consisting of approximately 301 acres, of which
			 approximately 213 acres are owned by the United States and administered by the
			 Forest Service, as generally depicted on the map entitled <quote>Proposed
			 Proclamation Boundary Change, Grandfather Ranger District, Pisgah National
			 Forest</quote> and more particularly delineated and described according to the
			 final boundary adjustment map and boundary description prepared by the Forest
			 Service.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HD6F15230099D471387F0D615E5569E3B"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Availability and
			 correction</header>
				<paragraph id="idFD2BBF079DAA461890029B293B676F6A"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Availability</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The maps referred to in subsection (a)
			 shall be on file and available for public inspection in the Office of the
			 Regional Forester, Atlanta, Georgia.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="idAF45E44413714F7A89CDA0B7552F6268"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Correction</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of Agriculture may make minor
			 corrections to the maps.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HC7CF77F34F7F446CA2DA00E5C00022AD"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Land
			 acquisition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subject to the
			 appropriation of funds to carry out this subsection and the consent of the
			 owner of the private land included within the boundaries of Pisgah National
			 Forest by subsection (a), the Secretary of Agriculture may acquire the private
			 land.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H585677C7701E4A19A4F8AA10C400A431"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Management of
			 acquired land</header>
				<paragraph id="id238DD5BE14D346048ECD0D71A3363E48"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Any federally owned land that has been or hereafter may
			 be acquired for National Forest System purposes within the boundaries of Pisgah
			 National Forest, as modified by subsection (a), shall be managed as land
			 acquired under the Act of March 1, 1911 (commonly known as the <quote>Weeks
			 Law</quote>) (16 U.S.C. 480 et seq.), and in accordance with the other laws and
			 regulations pertaining to the National Forest System.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="id0BEDC6987B494530A7D9E5ACAF200D24"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Boundary
			 adjustment</header><text>Nothing in this subsection limits the authority of the
			 Secretary of Agriculture to adjust the boundaries of Pisgah National Forest
			 pursuant to sections 10 and 11 of that Act (16 U.S.C. 519, 521).</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H06433364043F4D4EB01601377EE73FDD"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Relation to Land
			 and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965</header><text>For purposes of section 7
			 of the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (16 U.S.C. 460<added-phrase reported-display-style="italic">l</added-phrase>–9), the boundaries of Pisgah
			 National Forest, as modified by subsection (a), shall be considered to be
			 boundaries of Pisgah National Forest as of January 1, 1965.</text>
